Pretty much all phones have that ability built in, it's just up to your provider if they disable it or charge extra for it (if unrooted)

Wish T-mobile was a viable alternative to verizon or even AT&T here. According their "their" coverage map, I'd only get 2g at my house. Thanks Ohio! Guess I'll be staying with AT&T, just not sure if I'll be keeping the unlimited plan or trying to switch down to a tiered plan for a cheaper phone upgrade when I plan on upgrading my Iphone 4.. Right now I think it'd be a wash, but if I got a car with 4g, It'd be a lot cheaper to put it on the tiered plan.

Anyone else holding out for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4? After all of the rumors and stuff I've pretty much all but confirmed that will be my next phone.

While I'm looking forward to a larger phone, I've never understood the note (or larger) phones that creep into tablet territory... Unless you're also doing just massive amounts of web browsing, but that's why I have a small laptop for in bed and stuff.

The Note 3 is incredible, and does not feel too large at all. I can reach the entire screen with my thumb while holding it in 1 hand. That being said, it's WAY too big for my wife to do that.

The Note is basically for adult men, not kids or women.

So I got my first tablet last week and my old rugby 2 flip phone's contract is up tomorrow.
After 15 years of At&t I am thinking about ditching them and going to Tmobile( who has better service in my area according to most and is a fuck ton cheaper ).
My Tablet is Wifi only which is fine at home, but out on jobs, I need a smart phone that does wifi hot spots. I know Tmobile includes hot spots with the everything package but do almost all smart phones have that ability, or is it limited to just a few?
Tmobile charges for what youre tying to do. Fucking retarded considering its extremely easy to get around their bullshit with various apps or simply rooting your phone.

loving my new s5 - the camera alone is reason to upgrade but it just feels much speedier and more solid physically. also water resistant which is sweet at bathtime or when caught in the rain. screen seems much nicer too at 50% brightness and easier to read in the full daylight at 100% brightness. i'm happy so far.

My brother and sister in law both have Notes and they love them, but they use them as pretty much their primary computers. They have a laptop if somebody needs to type something big, but it rarely gets turned on and they just do everything on their phones.

If you are a TMO customer you can use AT&T's network thanks to a breakup clause in their failed merger.

You sure, I thought I saw Wifi hot spot is included with all plans. Ok I just looked free for 2014 with new plans, so I would be getting that part as a bonus.

T-Mobile may not have the coverage of other big companies, but they just performed an OH SNAP against AT&T and others. $100/month for a family of 4 with 10GB to share.

The reason I am switching is the coverage in my city is actually better than ATT. Verizon on the other hand hardly has any coverage here. My city is 100,000 people and a college town, not sure why it is always ignored by the big ones.

The 10GB is only for the first year, then it goes down to 4GB.

For those waiting on the Note 4, you might want to wait and see if the rumors of the Moto built 5.9" Nexus end up being true.

1GB per line shared, assuming it just throttles afterwards isn't bad at all though.

Saw a commercial they are also giving 7 days free to check them out. Tempting. My contract is up in November.
