I am in the UK mate. It needs to go back to the O2 shop to exercise the carrier warranty. Pain in the arse tbh.Screen issues should be covered by HTC Care, contact them first.
Ah shit, really? Figured it was an international thing that HTC did. (I did notice you were in Scotland)I am in the UK mate. It needs to go back to the O2 shop to exercise the carrier warranty. Pain in the arse tbh.
Isn't it easier to enable usb debugging and grab everything with adb or one of the million remote control apps ?A tip from someone who has had multiple phones where a portion of the screen quit working. There is an app calledUltimate Rotation Controlthat lets you override app specific rotation limitations that make it hard to get your files and such off the phone before you replace it. My last phone only had about 25% of the screen working and with that app and a litte creativity I was able to get all of my shit off the phone from several apps.
Google already updated AOSP with the 5.0 source, they just haven't released the factory images for anything other than the N9 and Nexus Player. Supposedly there is a bug for the N4 and N5 causing WiFi to freak out and kill the battery, so they're delaying the factory images until it's fixed.Android 5.0 Lollipop Nexus update release date set for November 12th | BGR
Lame. I know there are versions out there already that you can grab, but I am super lazy and just want to wait for OTA.
How's the build quality and camera on that phone?Edged up to a Turbo yesterday. Pretty damn sweet phone. Love the pre-unlock screen notification management, being able to peek at messages and stuff before needing to enter a pin and whatnot.
No complaints at all. Got the black ballistic nylon version because I didn't want a slick back, which the red was. How's the build quality and camera on that phone?
