Battery on my 1+1 was getting a little worn out since I use it so much, went ahead and ordered a 1+3. Because cheap. Also I guess the reviews on it are great as well.
Although I'm finding that the reviews online are 80% about camera quality, which I really don't care about. Cameras were as good as I needed years ago.
If you aren't looking to use them yourself for any reason, Donate Cell Phones | Recycle Cell Phones - Cell Phones For Soldiers is what I do with my old phones. Is there anything useful to do with old phones?
I currently have a Note 3, Samsung S4, S3, two S2s, and LG G2, and some old HTC Evos (all Sprint) just sitting in a desk drawer in my home. Everytime I upgrade our phones (family plan with my wife & my parents on it) I never know what to do with the old phones.
It all comes down to preference, I agree to disagree.I agree about hangouts. I use it all day as my primary means of communicating with 99% of my contacts. I wish their video chat was better. It's the only gripe I have. Also, I highly recommend Pushbullet. Nice chrome plugin and app on your phone that lets you manage sms and notifications (among other things) from your computer. Being able to respond to texts all day while in the office without having to touch my phone turns out to be really convenient.
chorboy
longer battery life (eg: turbo 1, turbo 2)
quickcharge support (0-100% in under an hour? Yes please)
expandable storage
NFC (for more than just apple pay lol)
more memory
industry standard, non-proprietary charging port
itunes lol
I can go on (but we really don't need to swing our dicks around here, I can agree to disagree!)
I'll also say, from experience managing over 1000 android phones for field crews that android perform better, and are significantly easier to manage in the workforce via MDM and enterprise integration. We have about 400 ipads in production and they are complete shit to work with, manage and maintain compared to our android devices.
I get the appeal to iPhones, everyone I know has or has had one, myself included. I prefer the design, freedom and performance of android to iPhone.
Yeah, I just got home from the desert and activated my project fi. I'm really happy with the service and bill, also the customer service is pretty great.I grabbed a 64GB 6P. Hard to beat for $403. I'm moving over to Project Fi at the end of the month and was hoping a deal would come around!
I've always been scared of fucking around with phones, I know I'm a pussy...If you root the phone, I'd highly recommend gettingFiSwitch. It allows you to force switch between the carriers easily. Comes in handy sometimes.
