Wonder what kind of car data. Are they selling Carfax type of data such as service records and DMV records tied to unique user? Or are they selling automotive shopping behavior data? The latter would be a gold mine.

I worked in automotive advertising on the digital side for a year in a startup back in 2016 and its laughable how behind the times automotive marketing is. 10 years behind at least. There's a reason they spend so much money on commercials during NFL games, its because they dont know how to do anything else. To be fair, they have an attribution problem from online shopping to actual purchase that is extremely difficult to solve (you can put a $10,000 TV in a shopping cart on amazon and check out, but you can't do the same with a used car at same price).
Its the actual car data from use. Speed, distance, usage all that connected car stuff.

Public service announcement: Friends don't let friends buy calls. They show them how to write puts.

Go to the option thread and look at selling/writing puts. Long story short though. Find a stock that you like and would like to buy and own. Instead of buying it, sell a put on it instead. You either get free money or you own the stock you'd buy anyway at a cheaper price.

they need to streamline the sales process.

i'd no kidding trade my vehicle in and buy a new one a LOT more often if I knew it wasn't going to take fucking 2-6 hours of bullshit (even when pre financed with my bank check in hand and I do as much as possible beforehand)

Apparently we should have all bought AMC three weeks ago.

I have a watch list of about 50 stocks and it’s the absolute only thing green today.

Depends on your state actually. In S Fla, the haggle thing is gone. After Maroone went to flat rate pricing the others couldnt compete and matched him. Then you get pre-approved (ie.. pre-funded) through your bank and you walk in with the check, sign it and leave with your car. When I bought my Volt in Florida it was a 30 minute process start to finish. Ny still does that faggot "let me speak to my manager" bullshit. This whole state is aids.

Ideally, most dealerships now let you make an offer via email. You email every dealership with the car vin you want on the lot and give them all the same offer. If the offer is somewhat reasonable one will probably accept it.

i'm sitting on a bunch of 25 dollar lucid (still cciv). pls don't do this to me lucid

Well, at the very least Lucid has conducted real, actual test drives where their vehicle didn't go up in flames. So... way ahead of Nikola and Lordstown!
