If you guys who aren't into the game haven't played Battlefront 1 or 2, you should really try that or check out some youtube videos on how those older games play. They were 100% retard proof shooting galleries, but fun as fuck.

BFront3 is basically an updated Bfront 2 with some ranks and upgrades to keep the replay factor a bit higher. I can't tell you how many hours I played the single player BF2 just murdering bots and taking objectives...shit was cash.

As a side note, where do you find the vehicles? And how do you get to be Luke or Vader? ATST, Tow Cable, etc.

They must be hard for most people to see or people just don't know what they are. I played a couple games where I saw people running by them and I was able to be in an AT-AT, AT-ST or Tie for most of the match.

They are icons on the map. Just run over them. The heroes are designated by a lightsaber etc
I never see anything like this on the mini map - PS4 version. Am I blind or not even seeing the map?

I think if people played SWBF1 and SWBF2 they will buy this game. If you're expecting this to be Battle Field 5 super deluxe, you're not getting that. I'd also like to think that maybe, just MAYBE we can't fully shit-smear the game considering it currently caps out at lvl 5 of what I assume to be 50ish levels? All the previous BFronts had class systems so I would be very surprised if there wasn't more than just this card system. I think a lot of it is them not having the models ready and that, for instance, is why Luke has his full black garb and green(!!!!) lightsaber on Hoth. THAT SHIT AIN'T RIGHT!!111!11one!1one

Yeah they are, I just saw two people take them down with the tow cables. I think they have to be vulnerable first.

I never see anything like this on the mini map - PS4 version. Am I blind or not even seeing the map?
They're like floating blue coins. The one to gun from the AT-AT is right behind the one that is fallen over. So if you're standing at the hanger looking out, it's off to your right. There's also an AT-ST icon over there kind of by the mountain, and there is an AT-ST coin that shows up on the opposite side where empire spawns.

I noticed that sometimes they don't show up for me, but most of the time they show up as grey circles with an icon of what the power up is. There's also turrets you can deploy and jump in, automated turrets you can drop, and powerups like a squad shield that puts a bubble around wherever you drop it.

One thing that they need to tweak is the way the targeting reticle works with the AT-ST and the AT-AT. It's like an inch higher on my screen from where the vehicle actually shoots. So in order to hit people you have to aim WAY high to get the blaster shots on target. Also someone above mentioned the sensitivity settings for mounted guns and vehicles should be separate, I agree with this. I like to turn up the sensitivity to fly and make turns that aren't slow as fuck, but when you hop in a turret barely moving the mouse causes the fucker to swing like 90 degrees.

I will say this, given the specs they gave, I didn't think my old ass machine could run this, i7 920 and gtx 970, but turn down a couple of things(mainly shadows) and it runs pretty damn smooth.

Yeah no doubt. I'm not sure why people want a competitive star wars game anyway, just sounds silly.

It hits all the right beats. It's easy enough because of the massive aim assist for casuals to enjoy, and immersive enough for all the fans of Star Wars.

It is a game that will only work with the Star Wars universe. They just need to keep it filled with maps every month.

The first gun is rubbish - but the 2nd gun lets you start to wreck bitches - its like night and day (beta-wise)
I find the first gun to be better then the 2nd, but doesn't matter once you get the LMG

Note also...Once people get used to flying, and know how to do the cable...Map evens out a ton probably.

That only works if the empire goes full retard. I racked up like 15+ kills on speeders on one map just stopping the tow cables from happening

The speeders only work if the shield is down, and they only show up on the last third/stage of the map anyway. So even assuming someone lives long enough to get to the powerup and activate it, then then still have to spend the like 10-15 seconds slowly flying circles around it hoping empire doesn't just ace them.
