Kathleen Kennedy said at SWC this weekend that she didn't think the stand alones would have a crawl saying that they sorta telegraphed that in the opening of the R1 panel. Gareth Edwards echoed that but said we'd just have to wait and see to find out for sure.

Edwards said that R1 was a story whose foundation itself was from the crawl in Ep 4 and that it seemed odd to have a crawl born out of a crawl. That's a weak rationale when you look at it in terms of the serials that Lucas was trying to harken back to.

Episode 2, or 3 shouldn't have a crawl then if "the crawl was odd" is rational for not having one lol..

Corran Horn everything. DoI, Jedias a movie when his backstory is established so we can have Luke Skywalker fucking up some dudes with a lightsaber.

It's a little late getting out but apparently Gareth Edwardssquashedone of the more common points of speculation concerning R1 at SWCE; Han Solo will not be making an appearance.
