That's not a these days sorta deal. That's old school. I remember them putting those pronunciations in parenthesis like that before when Ep. IV came out. It seemed dumb to me back then to. I don't know what the logic was ever supposed to be behind that.

Star Wars Celebration takes place next week, and it's going to be a big one, with Lucasfilm and Disney gearing up for Star Wars: The Force Awakens' release at the end of the year. A new trailer will reportedly debut, which will play in theaters with Avengers: Age of Ultron (and of course online), and now word has leaked as to what to expect in that trailer.


The teaser is just under two minutes.
Classic characters Han, Leia, Artoo and Threepio are seen.
Yavin is seen.
We see a shot of Finn (John Boyega) with a blue lightsaber.
There is a brief shot of Captain Phasma (Gwendoline Christie), the rumored "chrome Stormtrooper."
We see Kylo Ren's helmeted face.
We see Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac) shoot down a TIE fighter.
There's a shot of Finn and Poe walking past one another at the base.
Rey (Daisy Ridley) is in a few shots.
There is a shot of Poe Dameron, Artoo, Threepio and a CGI character ("Rose," possibly played by Lupita Nyong'o).
BB-8 is socketed in the back of an X-wing.
Kylo Ren's Imperial shuttle flies by with TIE escorts to a Star Destroyer.

IIRC in one of the Star Wars books from the mid 90s someone goes to Endor and finds the site and some stuff is still there like the half burnt helmet. I'm pretty sure anyway, would love it if someone could either correct me or tell me I'm right. It's been 15 years or more since I read it.

And regarding the credit list,QueenLeia? Sure, I know she was a princess back in the day but isn't this the newRepublicthat they are forming? She was President Leia in the books, right?

Planetary governments are separate from the Republic government. That's how you had Senator Palpatine and Queen Amidala both from Naboo in Phantom Menace. Bail Organa was married to the Queen of Alderaan, so presumably his title as Prince-Consort appended the Princess title to Leia. Queen Leia makes absolutely no fucking sense because there is no more royal house of Alderaan anymore. Or, obviously, any Alderaan at all.

You know, Vader probably could have survived being rescued by Luke, but he told Luke to leave him behind because he didn't want to be tried for his crimes. Two billion counts of first degree murder probably being at the very top of the list of charges.
