Never seen it, only read the through the final big EU storyline and heard part of it referenced something they covered in that show.

Wow, I had forgotten that whole immaculate conception shit. There obviously was far too much retarded shit in those films for any one single human to be able to keep track of it all (with the possible exception of Mr. Plinkett).

And talking of Mr. Plinkett, thanks to him we have at least something to look forward to with Episode VII. If the actual film is shit, then at least his review aught to be good.

Well, at some point during the Plinkett reviews JJ's Star Trek is referenced as the way to make a sci-fi movie that feels alive and active while telling its story as opposed to Lucas' shitty fucking talking heads over green screen approach. I really have a hard time imagining he will be able to come close to as bad as the prequels, much less worse. It might not be a total rejuvenation of everything Star Wars but I'm assuming it will at least be reasonably entertaining. Star Trek wasn't bad, never saw the second one.

I've said this like a million times and will continue to say it for some time I imagine, but the Abrams Star Trek movies were the best Star Wars movies since the originals.

I personally hope Abrams sits in the Star Wars universe and someone that is not Abrams moves on to Star Trek. He is way more suited to that universe.
