It's trying to thread the needle of "The force is female/Grrl Pwr!@!" and "how can we not have people complain that Rey is a Mary Sue?" Either Disney A) doesn't understand the thing they bought or B) don't care in pursuit of an agenda; C) Outguessed themselves trying to "update" the story for "current year. The ending is shit. The last trilogy is shit. The prequels' may look worse but the plotting is better. Star Wars is the Holy Grail of movie trilogies and no one knows how to just give fans what they want and push the envelope just a bit:

So today, either the whole plot is shown in a trailer, or it's just a collection of short footage with no plot shown.. or maybe there is no plot to show.

i don't know guys... at first i really didn't want anything to do with the movie. i was so frustrated by TLJ and how it tried to accomplish what it wanted to accomplish that i just... lost heart in being excited by this...
but with all the leaks and rumors going on about this one? i'm actually getting excited to see how screwed up it actually is. i'm looking forward to pirating it.

Because blue means the good guys. Red means the bad guys. Yellow is neutral.
I kinda think that's actually the reason. It's G.I. Joe in spaaaaaaaace. Except all you learn at the end of it is that everyone in hollywood is grotesquely over valued.
And knowing is half the battle.
Not because I want to see it, but because no one buying tickets does.

I read the spoilers that are out there for this film. It seems pretty awful on so many levels. Still will probably make 800 million domestic. Sigh.
