and yeah, let me tell you what...that first version of Hab Stat was awful!

To be honest I'm getting a little sick of the map because at least 1/2 the time in TvX now the terran lifts to the gold and does some type of scv pull all-in usually. I guess it's only a matter of time because the timings get figured out and it won't be as strong. Weird though because with all the early game shenanigans that terran can pull off (11/11, gold base 4 rax, gold base 1/1/1) they still are doing the worst overall on the map. (like ~45% win rate vs both P and Z)

Not gonna lie though, it's nice to see 1/1/1 return and see all these new age protoss have no clue how to deal with it lol. Especially now a day since going robo first isn't done very often yet it's pretty much the best way to hold off the 1/1/1. Heck, I think you pretty much need immortals to hold it off. Or maybe a storm rush? Although I'm not 100% sure of the timings of it yet so maybe storm isn't possible.

1/1/1 ? Immortals and you need to tech to colossus if the marines reach a certain mass or go TC, both chargelots and blink can work.Stargate - if you go 1 oracle 1 phoenix, you should be fine too, since you shut down the banshees so cost effectively and sometimes you can even snipe the raven.

I remember Stargate being far more effective against 1-1-1 than Robo, and that was before the Oracle.

Pretty sure a Stargate will destroy 1-1-1.

Well, depends on the version they are using, if you fuck up and lose an oracle to a mine, you can easily lose to cloak or early push. Robo is far more solid in that and warp prism let's you do some harass, but yeah, if you shut down the banshees and he doesn't do some crazy 1 raven 2 tanks + marines + pull SCVs early timing, you should be good to go.

I don't really play anymore, but in WoL the most important things for stopping a 1/1/1 were cutting probes and starting gateways at the right time, and having pylons on the map to warp in behind them. How you defended the harass and how many robo units you made mattered a little, but it was usually just a good engagement with zealots that decided it.

Hero didn't make it to Ro16 :-/ Some interesting upsets, like how did Tod beat Jaedong ?! Still, the odds of foreigner winning seem pretty slim

Yet again Terrans are a rare spawn in a tournament. Makes for very, very boring viewing when the most exciting race isn't present.

What's more disappointing is Jaedong continuing his run of going deep in a tournament and then falling in the semis/finals. Life completely dominated in the semis and finals though. He really only lost the one game vs. Innovation because he stayed on roach/hydra tech for way too long and didn't tech up until it was far too late.

Fuck Terran.

Well, at least we had the story of (P)Impact vs Jaedong after talking smack beforehand. If Snute didn't go full foreigner vs JD in g3, we would even have a white guy in ro4.
