We must be playing two different games because I've never had anyone avoid my WM unless they see it either by approaching and backing off prior to the fire (which it completely reveals itself) or with detection. Likewise I've ran banshees head first into WM a number of times. There is too much going on in this game to have some superman like vision of a small defect in the terrain unless you're playing at 10 APM just staring at your army as it walks across the battlefield.

Depends on how much time you spend babysitting your army. If I know the terran isn't making any, then I don't look, otherwise, of course I'll double check or just wait for observers

Funny enough I've found I've elevated my game by playing tons of Heroes of the Storm. I got so used to in that game just staring at the minimap like a hawk since I mainly played global heroes that it has transitioned over to SC2. It is finally sinking in I need to make looking at that tiny box the highest priority.

Oh yeah and IEM Toronto replays are out if anyone still actually plays this game. Tons of standard games to learn builds.

Yeah. When Masters+ players are 200-350 APM, noticing a non-moving smudge on the ground isn't gonna be easy. You very rarely see a pro game where the other player notices a burrowed roach ambush unless the Zerg has tunneling claws and they're moving around.

we are talking about a PVT - protoss rarely do gimmick shit such as drops in the first few minutes like Tenks Banshee suicide, instead they show up at your door with the best army they can possibly have at that time, and you can bet they're not moving that army forward towards your base ever without looking. Vs that, widow mines are useless gimmicks, especially when they can be disarmed without loss through blink. That's why Flash didn't build them in these games.

WM are worthless against that because of observers and colossus not because the WM is shown on the ground slightly. And because chargelots will just friendly fire the mine onto you anyways.

I was just responding to your comment about WM being visible and banelings not. Being totally invisible when burrowed rather than partially doesn't seem to make a big difference in most encounters unless the burrowed unit's moving.

I was accused of hacking yesterday after someone flew their medivacs right over a watchtower I controlled and I stim/sniped them before they could unload.

Wasn't he the dude Idra beat in the King of the Beta? Man those days feel so long ago, but it was just a couple years ago. Still remember working on APM and macro playing against the Green Tea AI after beta ended and before release. Sheeeiiit.

Jinro. From what I understand he is actually getting back into the game but as a more casual level. But he said he is back to facing GMs on the KR server. He makes too much money from poker to do full time Starcraft though.

And in the realm of "its been a long time coming" for WCS 2015 you will need to have residency in the region you are competing in with a full visa and all that. So no more Koreans deciding to bail on the GSL to try and stomp WCS NA.

I really hope Taeja gets the Big W this year. By far my favorite player to watch, and if I understand correctly he's going to have to retire soon because of his wrists and military service in Korea.

I think Nazgul's latest blog said that Taeja's wrist issues are control now. Maybe he stopped going to his all natural voodoo doctor using bay leaves and frog oil to treat it. For military if you're being a success you can push that shit off for almost ever.

Isn't the guy like 18? Most pros kept delaying it until 24+

Taeja keeps winning only those measly 10k tournaments, according to esportearnings.com he made 240 000$ from winnings alone

He could easily take the Stephano route and just go to school.
