Do you even read the dialogue or follow the stories as you're playing the games? As was the whole plotline with the Xel Naga artifact and what it does. So we are now led to believe that Amon created the artifact to absorb psionic energy preparing for his eventual return which was precipitated by the heroes gathering said artifact and you sell this concept by defending the artifact pieces with all your shadowy evil forces...
What?
I mean it is one thing to invalidate and twist plotline from 10 years ago, but to retcon things from something you yourself wrote in the last 18 months seems a bit silly.
So now Zeratul, who led everyone down this rabbit hole, is going to be revealed as a Dark Templar in service of Amon this whole time?
When were the pieces of the Xel'naga artifact ever guarded by minions of Amon? When you acquire the pieces in WoL you are either stealing them from the Dominion or taking them from temples guarded by the protoss (Tal'darim). Valerian Mengsk was seeking the pieces as a backer and leader of the Moebius foundation,
though the person really pulling the strings is Duran/Narud/Amon's servant. Narud was using Valerian by telling him the artifact could de-infest Kerrigan (truth).
At the same time Narud was either playing or working with Arcturus Mengsk. He gave Arcturus enough information to make a plan to send Tychus to Raynor (via the Moebius foundation) so that he could eventually kill the de-infested Kerrigan. What really mattered to Narud was both using Kerrigan's energy to revive Amon and getting Kerrigan killed. Zeratul knows the prophecies/future (as did old Queen of Blades Kerrigan, the overmind and Narud) that the Queen of Blades is the only hope to prevent Amon from wiping out all life. This is why Zeratul is eager to set her back on the path to becoming QoB again by sending her to the primal zerg planet. These are all things you learn just from playing the games and paying attention.

The story has flaws and holes, but don't try to make them up where they don't exist by drawing ridiculous conclusions based on false information.
