I don't see the games as more exciting, I see Terran roflstomping the best Protoss and Zerg. It's stupid that a Terran with good mechanics can be 2 bases up on another race just due to drop harrass. Give the Protoss something to be just as abusive to Terran and games would be a million times more exciting. Parting played great game 1 and never had a chance. The game wouldn't have been even close if Flash was better at scouting expansions.

No, I'm not drunk. Look at the Terran W/L record at this tournament. It's close to 60% and thats including matches against arguably the 3 best Protoss and the best Zerg in the world. Did you watch qualifiers? Terran did quite well there too. Innovation just 3-0'd Rain (1 of the 2 best Protoss in the world). Parting played a great game 1 and didn't have a chance. Parting won game 2 from a 1 base 3gate Stargate vs. 3CC. Creator is pretty freaking good and Polt made him look horrible. MKP and Teaja were both eliminated by Terrans. Huk was 0-3, Sase 1-3, I think Stephano was an 0-3, Ret was a 1-3 or an 0-3, Feast was a 1-3, Killer was an 0-3. Leenock was an 0-3 wasn't he? All of these losses to Terran. Life, arguably the best Zerg just about lost to Polt. Life is a significantly better player than Polt. MC beat MVP by SG cheese. I doubt MVP loses to that wonky build again.
Now, I watch a TON of streams and it's a pretty common theme of X terran beating a Toss or Zerg that is a better mechanical player.
I don't think you understand how bad foreigners are at this game. HOTS has a greater skill ceiling so lesser players, namely foreigners, are getting shit stomped by Koreans. Not even just Korean Terrans.

Tenks, did you watch Leenock vs Innovation? If not, have a look. Games 2 and 3 were a masterclass of T v Z. Flash vs Parting was also very one sided ("gg super imba").
I think the skill difference between Life and Polt is huge. it's the best zerg in the world against someone who is barely top 20 terran.

Race that excels at small scale engagements currently has the best defensive units in the game and the fastest way to reposition their armies at no additional costs, in fact you are encouraged to make those units since they synergize. If I want fast WP, I need t3 tech and invest 300/300 into upgrades. Zerg needs to make comparable investment. Terrans just get it free of charge.

Do you have intelligent arguments or just result to calling people drunk and completely insane? Life is a better player than Polt. Flash just made Parting look stupid in game 4. Parting, held off early aggression / cheese but Flash was able to take 3 CC behind it while Parting was stuck defending, he felt ballsy and attempted a 10 minute 3rd (which he should absolutely be allowed to based on the opening) and Flash destroyed the 3rd and was quickly able to do a 3 medi doom drop into the main to destroy the main. Parting took 1 game and it was a cheesy all-in. The first game Parting played near perfect and didn't have a chance.
I don't necessarily want Terran to get a nerf but Zerg and Toss need more options against Terran. You are aware that they actually slowed down medivacs in WoL because they were too powerful right? The fact that a Terran can safely take a 3rd around the 9-10 minute mark and Toss can barely hold a 3rd at the 14+ minute mark is not right. I don't watch as much ZvT but it doesn't seem right to consistently see Terrans a base up on Zerg.
I understand that Koreans will be better than foreigners but Sen, Sase and Stephano aren't the typical foreigners and it should be a closer margain than it is. Huk has always been a poor man's MC, plays a gimmick and just tries to control it well. Therefore, I don't put much stock in Huk being swept.
What I am expecting to see in TvZ is the terran stays on equal bases to zerg but with additional macro orbitals. The terran does not need the extra gases and does not need to work more than 3 mineral lines at a time, but drop retention should give them spare minerals to make orbitals.
Bomber should open expand into viking (no reactor), if MC goes stargate then he can defend it and MC cannot do a colo followup. If MC does not go stargate he can add a raven and some mines, which should hold and sort of stalker all in.
We get a ton of bitching on this forum when a Terran wins 3-0 feel free to let it out about Oracles in TvP being overpowered. Go ahead.
