Bombers builds against TLO were so fucking stupid. Why rely on these all-in 2base timing attacks instead of just playing normal.

I'd like to comment about balance, but twitch was shit the whole weekend and it buffered every 10 seconds, thus making the tournaments unwatchable, even on low ...

ForGG was crushing everybody left and right and he actually should have gone to the finals but he definitely made some mistakes after he was up 2-0. Still blown away that San crushed Dear so hard in the finals though.

As for the other tournament. No way Bomber should have lost to TLO because Bomber could have at least done alright against herO. Although with the way herO was playing I don't know if anybody was going to beat him. Bomber does know how to exploit Protoss timings with SCV pulls so I think he would have stood a much better chance than TLO did.

Habitation Station. The space one. The Protoss + Jungle one. Has a gold base as well.

It's basically producing the most enjoyable games for spectators imo. It might not be the most fun to play on for pros but fuck em, viewers love it. Then again, a lot of pros are also picking it to play on, so who knows. (Probably because every protoss bans daedalus and every non-protoss bans yeonsu lol)

It's "different" just enough to not be Daedalus point, it rewards aggressive plays and positioning, plenty of space for harass and the gold base is always helpful for pocket strats. I think we will be seeing the map for the rest of 2014

We'll see, it would be pretty awesome. I know TvZ and TvP is pretty 50/50, yet ZvP zergs are winning a lot more than protoss. Then again, I honestly don't think protoss are abusing the map as much as they could. HerO did some fast expand naturals to the gold, as well as the warp prism sentry drops which would have worked amazingly, yet he screwed up the forcefields.

I find TvZ quite difficult on the map. You'd think the gold ledge would be exploitable to just put a few tanks but siege tanks are so terrible TvZ it is somewhat wasted potential. Muta harassment into the gold is rough and basically forces you to put a million turrets there. Expanding to the south of your natural is equally difficult due to the open nature of it so ling/bling floods seem to occur all the time. Since the map isn't that huge vertically I find myself having issues sneaking drop ships around because overlord coverage is quite easy.

For TvP it seems every Protoss, for whatever reasons, decides to cheese on the map. Since I'm pretty decent at holding off Protoss cheese it isn't a big deal. I find it one of the easier TvP maps because it is pretty bad for blink all-in and fast/proxy Oracle is kind of out in the meta (and my build shuts it down anyways.)

Lol in the qxc AMA on allthingsterran someone said he wants to be a pro but wants to know how to get better. He has been playing the game 5hr/day for 3 years and is in Gold. WTF how can someone be that bad at this game.

Thanks for the QXC ama, I actually read about it yesterday that he was going to do one but I totally forgot about it. Now I can go back and read it all, see if there is anything that's interesting.
