Personally I found it pretty boring, but if you like the aesthetics you might enjoy it more and they added a lot of stuff since I played it.

Seems like the biggest complaint is the base game is really limited and tries to gouge you on DLC

Legend of Grimrock if you like the genre is great, both games are, 2nd one better than first. If you don't like dungeon crawlers though, there's probably not much point to them. That said I don't think it was in flash or daily sales, so it'll most likely go lower.

Reviews talking about removing un-necessary micro. Any feedback on that? I'm no 150 APS guy anymore, just looking for a fun base building game to then roll my army through some dudes, or computer opponents.
