No, you won't necessarily like BL2 if you liked BL1. I've got 600 hours in BL1 and couldn't even be bothered to finish BL2. It's got a lot of bullshit mechanics that quite simply don't add anything to the game, and they've lost some of the magic. There's no reason I need to manage my ammo to such an extent, and there's no reason the cost of ammo needs to scale to your level... that's just 2 of the really major things that make the game a shitload less fun than BL1.gmg is down but this was the link I saw for BL2+pass for $14 or so

that doesn't include a few things like the 2 extra chars (mechromancer and psycho), some of the costume shit, and umm i dunno what else. It does include the 4 content xpac DLCs. We'll probably see a BL2 GOTY in the next six months if you miss it.
I just started playing BL2 this week and its fun, its pretty much a continuation of BL1 so if you liked that game you will like BL2, if you hated BL1 you won't find anything new in BL2 to like. It is a game that is better co-op than solo, kinda boring playing solo. With tunngle (?) you can find hundreds of open games to join up and play at all levels, so for those of us without gamer friends you can still co-op play with random strangers.
I agree. I can't pinpoint why exactly, but I wasn't able to get into BL2 anywhere near as much as BL1. BL1 was probably my favorite game I've ever played, but BL2 I maxed one character, and did half of the first DLC and that's about all I could muster. No, you won't necessarily like BL2 if you liked BL1. GMG is doing a "666 sale" - 6 deals for 6 hours for the next 6 days. It's a dumb gimmick, but perhaps they will repeat some deals on the last day like Steam has done.Seems that was a short term sale, it's already over. I would have bought it for 15$ too. Maybe when the steam sale starts it will have the same deal.
666 stuff has started:http://www.greenmangaming.com/hot-deals/
Having to explain the timers in a blog rather than having one on the page with the deals is really interesting from a web development/content delivery standpoint.Oh, and a link to a timer for the deals:http://blog.playfire.com/2013/07/the...down-post.html
1-4 have already passed and it's on set 5 or 24 with 4 hours until the next.
on co.uk its only 20 pounds or about 30 dollars.
When I originally went to post this it was 35-36$ after posting it and double checking the link it said 40$ so I had to edit it. Its now back to 36$.on co.uk its only 20 pounds or about 30 dollars.

Exact opposite for me, couldn't get into BL1 after trying to about 6 times. No, you won't necessarily like BL2 if you liked BL1. I've got 600 hours in BL1 and couldn't even be bothered to finish BL2.
