CS:GO up for 3.75, well worth that price tag, I just bought two one for a friend and one for me.

I pirated the Witcher 2 and felt cheated. Didn't care for it.

I bought 1 and 2 and couldn't get into it at all. I always felt like it was a game Ishouldlike, but never did.

CS:GO is just ok, but at that price it is definitely worth it.

Witcher 2 worth $5? Never played the first one.
Yes. Personally, my favorite fantasy RPG. Though I would get the first one too while your at it. It's also great and only $2.50 now. Plus, you'll have a better understanding of the the main character and world going into the 2nd.

Is it just me or do the steam sales seem to have less and less to offer as the years go by?

There are, what, maybe two or three 'MUST PLAY' games each year. Then four or five 'It was okay, if you like <Insert game type here>'. Followed by loads of games that were the sort your parents would buy you from the cheap bin when you told them the exact name of the game you wanted and they did not care enough to listen. So each sale, in theory, should have less for you to pick up.

Back when it was one major sale a year, you would stockpile games then. Now Steam has a sale every quarter it seems, so you just pick a game up here and there.

'Indie' games are really the future, assuming they keep their prices reasonable.

I think its a factor of the sales just being so constant. that is the danger. Offer too many sales and each sale is less impactful.

it just SEEMS like there is less, because you already bought all the games you wanted on sale on the LAST sale.
So now, each sale there is only like maybe 1 new game. Vs when it started and you bought like 3-4 years worth of backloged games.

This sale sucks. Between Amazon and Steam I have only purchased, Ni No Kuni, Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5, Dark Souls, Sleeping Dogs, and Dishonored. WHERE ARE THE GAMES?

I feel pretty good about the sales this time around.

I bought

Battlefield 4
Mass Effect Trilogy
Terraria
Batman Arkham Origins
Skyrim Legendary

Not a bad list, and certainly plenty of gaming in there to last me until the next sale at least.

Also thinking about adding Witcher 2 and Legend of Grimrock.

So is Payday 2 worth playing? All I remember reading here is that it's repetitive. Never played the first one if that matters.
