The worst Robin was Jason and it sucks that they continually make one story for him over and over again. He blew up...now he's evil!!!!!!! Tell another story with Jason if you must. It was done best in the red hood movie
Jason was hated hence people voting him to die, that is a given. In this new twist whatever robin they pick wouldn't have to die at all, he just goes insane and kills the Robin symbol becoming the Joker. That would have nothing to do with those other stories.

So in the trailer it looks like Batman had a scene? Wonder if he will have more scenes and I suppose it will be Affleck?

Grayson, and Drake are the best robins, every one else is an impostor

Tim was something of an amateur detective. He had studied Batman. A boy with a Hobby.

Jason had died.Bruce was alone .Angry....Tim recognized that anger, and decided to do something about it.

He managed to accomplish what few others have been able to..
He deduced that Batman, and Bruce Wayne were one in the same. Furthermore, that Dick Grayson had been the original Robin...

Tim clung to a theory that Batman needs a Robin. More then just for a legacy, but as a balance.

Batman had taken both Grayson, and Tim in when they had no place to go, But Tim sought out the role. He wanted to be Robin.

And as hard as Bruce tried to convince him otherwise, Tim worked for it.

Dick saw being Robin as a thrill. It's probly why he outgrew it...

Jason saw being Robin as a game. It's probly what got him killed.

But...Tim....I have to hand it to the boy...

He wants to be the world's greatest detective, and from what I've seen so far...
He will be someday.

Kinda hard to be the next Batman when Joker tortures you to the brink of insanity and you kill him

You say some fuckall idiot stupid shit sometimes. But this was 100% correct. Tim Drake is the best.

But I absolutely see the merit of Damian Wayne. He was the entire lynchpin of a fantastic batman run.

In continuity, Joker killed Jason Todd. That's the story they have been using since "Death in the Family".

Considering He has The jokers writing on his costume in the movie it's a pretty safe bet he died to the Joker unless they pull some twist.
Is that the Todd or Tim costume? cuz the costume is holding a bo staff type weapon, most commonly associated with Tim. (just like Nightwings escrima sticks)

It looks a ton like the arkham games Robin suit. Which was Tim if I remember correctly.

I doubt it really matters which Robin it is in a setting where there probably only ever was one Robin. There might be a scene where they mention the real name, but it won't really matter if it's Tim or Jason, because there won't be a Dick, a Damian, a Stephanie, or a Carrie. Barbara probably won't have been Batgirl or Oracle in this setting either.

I know. It was just great to see someone finally fucking kill the Joker.
That's one of the things I loved about the Batman Beyond series, it had some nice twists they could give to the original animated series, like what happened to Mr. Freeze, Ra's Al Ghul, and Bane.

Jason was killed because of that stupid fucking vote not any narrative reason.

Well yes , and no. The writers had written two story lines for that story arc, and the readers poll decided the outcome.

It was actually less contrived then when DC killed Batman, and Superman which was a story they made specifically to spike sales on their books.

The DC staff was pretty surprised that Jason was voted to die, and it was a very close vote. In today's market every character would be voted dead just for the lulz.

Found out in the animated series (Batman/Batman Beyond) there is only Tim Drake and he was only tortured by Joker.
