Question: I have this wind vagabond that is level 25 and 3 stars. I don't use him. He seems awful. Is there any reason I shouldn't just use him as evolve bait?
Yeah, I evolved him to 3* specifically to use as 4* fodder.

Are the other Imps worth leveling up or just the water one? I'm currently working on leveling up the water but also have a wind one as well. Also, I know the silver 1 star monsters are just used as xp food but what about the gold 1 stars? Should I be saving them for something or just using them like the silvers?

You can level the gold 1 stars all the way to 6 star if you want - I'd just use them to 3 stars as fodder.

I did see a video of someone with an arena offense build that focused on buffing the Light Imp. His awaken gets 50% crit chance buff and I believe ignores defense. So the guy would buff him up and he'd blast a target for 20k+. Good head start. But it's a super specific high end gimmick thing.

Other than that I haven't seen anything. Fire Imp has a similar awaken to water, but I guess fewer hits so he just gets used to buff water instead since stacking the dots is really all that matters for that strategy.

I'd use them to pump up my blue imps after awakening.

I didn't realize that mystic scroll summons could summon up 3* version of 2* monsters. I got an awakened 3* fire garuda and awakened 3* water yeti. I would've been pumped about the yeti if it was fire or wind, but they did get immediately used as fodder to 4* my water warbear.

I think if you get an awakened summon it's always evolved once too, so I guess that's why they qualify.

New question: I have a wind Harpu that is max 3*. They have a pretty good attacking ability but I'm wondering if it is worth awakening and taking to 4*. Thoughts?

Awakened wind imp has a pretty nice AE that can be used in arena attacks. Fire just seems outclassed by water. I have an evolved water imp cuz I heard they were good but outside cheesing bosses they are just terribly squishy.

On the harpu, they seem ok. I have a fire one in the same situation, maxed out 3*, do I push it to 4*? I'm leaning toward no though. They too are super squishy.

Just ran water dungeon level 3 and got water angelmon, rainbow angelmon, water angelmon in a row. Ok then!

Edit: I just kept spamming that dungeon, about 13 runs total and ended with 4 water angelmon, 4 rainbow angelmon, a pixie secret dungeon and some mid essence. Now I don't have enough small to awaken them all!

I would evolve it. Once you get a monster to 4* you can use her to evolve to 5* when she's obsolete

I'm lazy and auto pretty much every fight except a few pvps ones (because sometimes the auto is just dumb as fuck) and one thing I see time and again which gets my goat is, some enemy is at a tiny sliver of life, and it will have my guy use his 3 turn super to kill it, while there are still other enemies on the board. It's just so completely wasteful =/

Good call, I think I'm going to evolve it for the AOE damage and then use it to feed later on.

it looks like for a lot of people (me included) it doesnt work currently on cell data and has to be hooked up to wifi. which is retarded.

Apparently there's a workaround for the 4G thing.

So! Faimon 1(normal) talk...yes again. It's 756exp a run for 3 stam, which is nice. But not amazing. If you can run it you can probably manage Tamor 3(Hard) which is like 1085 for 4stam, or Vrofagus 1(Hard) which is 1136 or so for 4stam. Both are a bit better and if anything easier to run. HOWEVAH!!!!!!!!! Faimon gives you a pretty ridiculous amount of energy drops. Like it's got to average near 2 and I've seen 4 on occasion. Literally get back more stam than it cost. Plus you know,Inugamis and Hellhounds to skill up yo stuff=)

So it's amazing for grinding. And the real goal is apparently to get a monster that can solo it. Because then you can stick 3 random shit with him and grind their levels up pretty quickly. But it's not easy, pretty much need beefed out 5* awakened Water Warbear, Fire Inugami, Water Sylph, or Water Rakshaka apparently.

So what's the strategy for making a defense team? Just use something that will survive long enough for the towers to kill the attacker?

A+ or S rated (from thread on official forum) defense monsters I have are:
Fire Yeti
Fire Golem
Fire Living Armor
Water Fairy
Water Golem
Water Howl
Wind Warbear
Wind Yeti

Basically I went from having nothing worthwhile for defense to having to decide which 4 of the 8 to use. 9 really, since water serpent is listed as an "A" and mine is level 20 4* awakened, which is a pretty big advantage over all the other crap I have to level/evolve/awaken first.
