Guardians was awesome as was Peacemaker and Gunn made Suicide Squad much less dogshit than the first one but I'm not sold on his silly shit working with the mainstream DC movies. I'm sure I'll eventually watch this at home, I certainly won't be going out to see it unless there's some crazy unexpected word of mouth about it though.

Meh, one of the classical issues with Superman was his near indestructibility, usually requiring something from Krypton, either kryptonite or other kryptonians, to pose him any danger. This tosses that worry right out.

Krypto appears to just serve as a combined Rocket and Groot, combining a non-verbal character with our natural inclination to like furry critters, then undercutting it with them acting like an asshole when they can get away with it.

The robots are initially odd, but explain away why a farmboy can get the Krytonian tech in the Fortress of Solitude operational - the last iteration needed ghost/AI Russell Crowe to accomplish the same goal, after all.

I thought the pacing was kind of slow given everything else that's in this movie, unless the run time is three hours.

Peacemaker was the best superhero TV show I've seen with the R rated Punisher a close second. Nothing really come close to those two as far as TV goes. Hawkeye was above average, but nothing more than that. Everything else is average or worse.

Edit: Live Action at least. Invincible has been good so far too.

I don't find Cena all that funny and the homo stuff is sometimes unbearable. It's not totally unwatchable but I think it misses more than it hits. But yeah it's better than absolute feminist garbage like she hulk or the acolyte. Maybe on par with the Amazon lord of the rings or wheel of time. Watchable garbage.

I liked Titans and Doom Patrol better at the beginning. Although a few seasons in those got a little stale. And the first Daredevil was absolutely the best.
