That season was lol, they tried to stack that season with idiots so one of them could win, derpy chick ended up winning, oh and the asian chick was on shark tank, she got lol out of there too, i think hair removal or sweaty balls? Product

Yeah this is the one format that Redemption island actually made sense (only up to merge though, after that it's pure bullshit on any form of survivor). But Exile Island? That doesn't make much sense at all. I was completely against BvW the first time around, and was pleasantly surprised, but I think that had more to do with the returning players already having an emotional tie with its audience. This one, I don't know any of the contestants, so I'm not sure how it will pan out.

It was my idea to make it one thread, but I don't know that anyone likes it better this way.

Anyway, with that video, I like how Probst says it's diverse and yet half the damn people are cops or firefighters (hyperbole for the neckbeards).

Not really sure what to think of this cast.

My guess for first voted off is that old Lousiana firefighter guy. I bet he pisses people off -- more than Rocker does.

This season is off to a good start and I like this cast for the most part. I have a crush on Baylor so she isn't allowed to leave anytime soon.

Rocker is going to be a force in the physical part of competitions. He's going to be around for awhile.

Rocker is a stud. He's huge and muscular and undoubtedly very athletic. Definitely a guy you want out before the merge but not too far before.

Not sure why the gay guy voted for Baylor. That seems like a pussy move to me to try and not get any blood on his hands. I imagine that that will piss some people off.

My predicition that the old dude from Arkansas would be the first off was wrong, but I blame his tribe winning. We'll see if he survives. I'm also a fan of the pink bikini chick's tits. Those were nice. It's a shame her face looks like it does.

good god rocker was a beast. previous seasons former athlete was just some tall lazy black guy. i'm glad they got rid of,

"you know on the amazing race..."

but now this means the other one is safe for a long time. (cuz they'll be thinking about the merge and she'll be a lone but a vote)

Yeah, if I were him though, I'd be worried about wearing out early on in the game. You can only throw your teamates up walls so much before it takes a toll on your body without food. That said, yeah, he owned that shit.

That guy is from Shreveport, LA if it's the one I'm thinking of. Liking pretty much everyone so far with the exception of the twins, glad one is gone. They were annoying every time on TAR and almost wrote this season off just because they were picked to be on Survivor.

I agree though, was telling the wife the only reason he'd vote for Baylor was to not commit to a side, which could end up backfiring.

I have to wonder if Dale really found the idol or not. They've hidden them out in the open before - though I can't recall them ever being hidden without the instructions. If not, I look forward to seeing how he's going to put that to use, because I can't see them showing him take that without it coming into play later.

Overall, season looks to be starting off strong. The two tribes look to be pretty evenly matched which is a plus. As we've seen, picking buffs can result in one tribe completely dominating. (Though, I do question the tribes really being divided up like that considering how color coordinated everyone is...)

I'm guessing we'll see more reward challenges where the loved ones face off against each other, otherwise that Redemption Arena they built is going to go to waste.

it can't be the idol, it's too small, it's locket sized, idols are at least big rock sized. they have put them out in the open like in china where it was hanging up (where james got sent home with 2 idols) and with denise the therapist (she was good in challenges and could swim) and malcom, i think the idol was the rice container?

but also they have the idol clue from exile, did anyone read it?

Yeah, I'm guessing that all of the rewards will be based on two loved ones squaring off where one side wins reward and the other goes to exile at least until the merge. Then post merge maybe it will turn into redemption (I think I saw something about that in the preseason hype?)

Regarding the idol, even the ones out in the open generally had something engraved on them that said "Hey, this is an idol."

This season is showing potential just from the likable cast alone for me. While I love game play, don't get me wrong, I love to also watch people interact with each other, and it's much easier to do if I don't hate everyone on the cast.
