it would have been extremely funny if he took BOTH flints, that in my mind would be "starting over" and they would have to win the next challenge to "get a flint". (since you always get a flint the first win)

exile island is stupid, unless they show us how much they suffer instead of how much they try to strategize.

This is exile island. 2 bitches walk onto the island, 2 bitches then walk towards the 2 jugs, 2 bitches then share the clue. Magically they live for 2 days and come back for the challenge, wtf!

I thought it was so funny when yellow team picked BAYLOR to compete, i was like "these dumb fucks must not want to eat if they pick this dumb bitch to compete"

Actually interested in Indian chick (now that her twin is gone), seems like she really wants to play, fuck it, lets see her strategize.

I was really disappointed Dale's plan didn't work. I would've loved to see the faces of that couple when they played the fake idol. That would've gone down as one of the best moments in Survivor history.

They should have been made to give up more during that trade. Both flints should have been taken.
What message does this send to future tribes? Eat as much rice as you can so you can dominate in challenges, and when you run out, all you have to do is give up comfort. You're no worse off than you started, and are still in fact in a much better position since you likely won a food challenge or two and will be going into the merge with numbers.

He should've made them pick rocks.

Well it's also a "bit" unfair 2 ppl merged into the gluttonous tribe, so i "think" producers didn't want to punish that tribe so heavily.

If it were me, i woulda take all the comfort all the tools all the flints, have production rip out the camp, leave them with 1 pot, 1 machette AND they have to goto tribal.

even then it's unfair b/c then the "old tribe" with numbers will just vote out a new guy and get "free refill" on food, then yea maybe picking rocks would have been more fair than tribal.

But again, it's not really a show on how to "survive", really it's just putting you in a survival environment to produce as much drama as we can take in, so them whilting away is bad tv.

I don't blame her for hoarding that food because those fucking people don't know how to ration fucking food. Fuck those douches and I honestly don't give two fucks about Julie either.

It sounded like they had all somewhat hoarded the food from the merge feast but because they're all gluttons they ran through it. Julie was just the only one who rationed hers.

Either way, yeah, this season sucks. Baylor and her mom are quite possibly my least favorite cast members ever.

This season is so bad that I stopped watching it a couple of weeks ago. I even watched the entirety of One World and that was terrible.

She was dumb, if she was gonna steal, just hide it in the forest, was she dumb enough to think ppl would NOT look in her bag? There really isn't anyone to like either, blond bitches are just blond bitches. The tall blond bitch became really disgusting once her idiot merged back with her, and no one likes the mom and daughter.

Fuck it, i'm still gonna root for the fat Indian, literally is no one else.

Yeah, this cast has turned into a bunch of rotten apples. Missy, Baylor, Alec, and his dumb as fuck older brother are some of the worst people they have ever had on the show. Right up there with Naonka. Even Jeremy, who I do like, is treading the "angry black man" line a little too closely. Jon and Jaclyn are just pretty white people that, apparently, are entitled to what ever the fuck they want. The best thing about this season is the gays and swampy hillbillies... goddamn.

Fuck the producers for putting John Rocker and his fake-balloon-titted bimbo on the show. I am not even mad at Julie for quitting, it was inevitable. Why would she stick around? Rocker strong-armed her into being on it, her agent said "yes, you could probably spin this into a VH1 reality show." She wasn't going to win, she doesn't need the money, and people who bully their whole lives are usually the ones least equipped to handle it themselves.

Yup, terrible season so far. I like Jeremy a lot, but he gets butthurt too easily. I'm still watching, but I have little hope this season will turn it around.

She could have been a good/great goat to take along. Judging from Jeremy's confessional how even Julie lasted longer than him, she's probably seen as a waste of space. She was always sat out in challenges and she's the GF of the most hated guy that season, who would vote for her, and then feel like dog shit that she shared the money w/ jon, She'd be a great easy goat to take along, hell this was probably many ppl's plans too.

I really wasn't paying attention this eps, (tired) does she still goto ponderosa, or goto tribal/vote for winner? pretty sure she won't get any/much compensation since she's first post merge quit since purple kelly/naonka fiasco?

sounds like she's butthurt when she saw jon+gigantor blond bitch together

with makeup she looks like a bad silicone version of jamie pressly

The only people you ever hear say, "I am so proud of myself and I have no regrets" are the quitters.

Then you have people like Spencer from last year, who bite and claw for every moment and every day, play their hearts out, and in the end when they are executed, they feel like they let themselves, their families, and their fans down.

Interesting dichotomy there...

Saying they are proud and have no regrets is just coping with their monumental failure as a quitter.

They just need to bite the bullet and have an all celebrity season. Just having one celebrity will always end up as big failure because they'll never make it to the end.

Ratings do, i guess and celebs always bring the dramas.

I would gladly welcome at 50/50 celebs vs. veterans.

None of this "OMGSZ! are they gonna find out my real identity?"

But yea the only way to give the celebs a fair fight, is to have lots of them.

look at the first all stars, tina was targeted right off the bat, and she's worthless just cuz she won s2 then ethan was next (i think rudy before ethah, cuz well he's annoying and old)

remember in survivor, it's back to grade school antics, pick on the guy lowest on the totem pole.

that's probably why they picked on julie, no one likes her, but as group, why not?

I just cant stand this couples shit. Chances are if you find someone annoying, their partner will be annoying also. Now we have these double headed shit-dragons like missy and baylor. Then the shitheads have a double shitvote because they align with each other.

Hopefully that tall blonde breaks off from her jock boyfriend next episode and we get a good tribal.

There is a reason why they only do Celebrity Apprentice anymore. Bigger drama, bigger ratings, and funner to watch.

I am not saying I even want it... but the concept would most definitely work and likely be a hit. You would have to be crazy to think they have not secretly already tried casting a season of it that didn't work out. You would have to cast the right people, so you would not get mass-quitters.

Jeff knew during casting she was going to quit. At least they are willing to admit their mistake and this why I like Jeff and this show so much more than Big Brother.

'Survivor' host Jeff Probst takes some of the blame for the latest quit | Inside TV | EW.com

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY:You and I spoke about Julie before the game and I said I didn't think she could cut it, and some of the other contestants didn't think she could either. She seemed to actually be doing okay out of the gate, but then it all fell apart. What happened?

JEFF PROBST:I have to put a big asterisk next to this answer because it is completely subjective. I think the answer to why Julie quit might be directly related to what she and her boyfriend John said on day one - "We have never been apart longer than four days." Based on that fact, I am guessing that the minute John was voted out of the game Julie began to ponder whether she wanted to stay in the game or join John in the non-jury group. Then when she got caught stealing the trail mix and the tribe ostracized her I think the decision became very easy: I'm done. Get me out of here.

Now you might be asking, "Okay, so why not just tell the tribe to vote her out?" To answer that you have to now make another assumption: Julie had a pretty good idea that the next person voted out would not be on the jury but anybody voted out from that point forward would be on the jury. This is key in my hypothesis because I think Julie wanted to be reunited with John, so it was mandatory that she was the next to go home. [ED NOTE: People voted out pre-jury do not see nor stay with those in the jury.] And despite stealing the trail mix there was still no guarantee she would be voted out next because the battle of alliances was very strong. Turns out, she would have been right in her concern as it appears Jeremy was going to be blindsided. Had Julie not quit she would have made the jury and would not have seen John until the end of the game. That's the only reason I can think of to explain her quit. She wasn't in bad shape physically or emotionally, there didn't appear to be any urgency, so why not just let it take care of itself at tribal with no stigma. But the bigger story of her quit is the impact it will have long term on the game. She was a very important vote that her alliance just lost.
