I don't agree with that. The first BvW was great. They just didn't get many strong players this time around.

BvW is ok once in awhile, but it needs a break. Certainly it adds an interesting mechanic to the game, but Survivor has this tendency to overuse stuff - "OH MY GOD PEOPLE LOVE IT THEY WANT ANOTHER SEASON OF IT RIGHT AWAY". Reminds me of all the Russell Hantz seasons followed by Brandon, no one wanted to see either of them ever again and probably would prefer it if they died IRL.

Towards the end I was rooting for the old man, but I'm good with Natalie winning as well. Glad someone told Missy off, how she made it that far is a mystery.

Plus she's got resting bitch face, fuck that.

"You wouldn't have said that to me if you knew I was a step-mother in real life!"

Bitch, you just made me feel sorry for some kid out there that I don't even know. Reed did the diplomatic thing by saying that he was talking about her character in-game, but it's pretty obvious she has that infallible, "my-shit-don't-stink", feel sorry for me because I'm a woman and a few things in life weren't completely handed to me, "YOU DON'T KNOW ME" attitude in real life, too.

It also seemed weird to me they would let her play on a broken bone like that.. I don't recall if anyone else has broken bones, but if so did they not immediately pull them out? Surely with malnutrition and constantly walking on it could cause serious damage, or at least terrible healing on the bone

julie quit this year, predator girl quit last year, colton quit BvW, brandon quit the year before that.

Every year there's a quitter, jeff wasn't gonna have 2 quitters (even if it was medvac) if missy wanted to play jeff would bend every rule, like giving her a fucking cast.

he even outright told her, sitout on challenges, wouldn't even let her contemplate it (so no one would be liable).

haha it was so over the top annoying how she kept playing the 'woe is me I've been divorced 3 times you don't know how hard that is I was even a step-mother once' card. No context, no nothing, just pity me because I'm a saint and obviously it was the man's fault! I also don't buy that she was shocked when she saw her intro and the producers chose to use the whole divorce angle. She played that shit out constantly during the 39 days and probably spent 90% of her interview talking about it. Ugh what a terrible woman.

jon is just as terrible this is a horrible interview, he can't even just speak the truth and facts but try to argue for jacklyn.

he's just inventing lies in his head.

jon was only useful for two things for the producers, to look like a entitled snob and to have that "fight" that everyone was waiting on, that was bound to happen to some couple.

holy shit, what's worse than jon's snobness? is jeremy's ego of himself

hyper ego starts at 2:40

I think the main problem with BvW is it really narrows down the potential pool of contestants. You don't just have to find a good player but a good player that is related to another person that wants to play and is also a good player. Jeff himself admits that one of the problems with this season was they cast too many people that didn't know the game (eg Keith). And I think a lot of that was how much they jumped the gun. BvW1 was a good season that a lot of people enjoyed, so rather than wait until they had another good cast, they just did another BvW literally as soon as they could (since BvW1 and Cagayan were taped back to back). I'm not against them doing another BvW season, but they should only do it when they find enough couples to make up an interesting cast.

Yeah, I think they usually figure on one person getting hurt or quitting and if they don't they have a double elimination at some point. If Missy had to be pulled they would have had to find a way to skip a tribal or take it to a final 2 which would have screwed with the game. As long as they could treat her on the island without endangering her health long term and she wanted to stay even with the disadvantage of having no chance of winning an immunity challenge (she wasn't going to win one anyway) then why not keep her around? She can really give it to Julie now though since she didn't quit after breaking her ankle while Julie quit just because she wasn't having a good time. I'm suprised Jeff didn't call her out on that at the reunion.

One thing I would have done if I was Keith was pick Missy to go to Exile Island. Bitch had been coasting by forever on the coattails of her alliance ever since she broke her foot. I would have made her earn her place at the end, but really I would have been betting that she would quit rather than go there and back by herself. Hello Final 3.

Sometimes by being an asshole to the asshole, you become an asshole. Being an asshole wasn't Keith's role in the game or his path to victory.

did you see keith's wife at the finale? she would have castrated keith if he sent missy to exile.

why was fake boobs julie allowed on there if she quit? i thought quitters didn't get a finale invite.

The only time a quitter did not go to the finale was Brandon Hantz, and that had nothing to do with him quitting but because they thought he might kill someone.

Sometimes. "I know you're hurt, but this game is Survivor and as the only person left here that hasn't visited Exile Island, I think it's only fair to everyone left that you should have to experience it before the finale, as well."
Boom...asshole move without sounding like an asshole. Then she quits and you're in the Final 3. Obviously doing what he did wasn't his path to victory either.

I thought this was a pretty good ending to a sub-par season. The last few episodes were entertaining enough and I was totally satisfied with Natalie getting the win. The "collar" theme next season will probably be stupid, but with 3 tribes, it should be more entertaining than this season.

This season had one of the best final tribal speeches I've ever heard.

Not a bad season overall. Very very slow first half but a good last half.

Josh was the better player leading up to the end, but Reed will go down as an all-timer with that speech. I would argue, that the gays were the best power couple in all of the seasons of Blood vs Water. Their only weakness was that they were too good at the game and were a major threat to everyone else. Whether it was physical, mental, strategic, or social, Reed and Josh were just better than most everyone else.

Yeah, I'd imagine if one of them is going to come back in another season, it'd be Reed. His speech was an extremely memorable moment, which means he'd be perfect as a villain in a second HvV season.

I had a massive schadenfreuder when Baylor started crying because her mom was just torn to shreds.

Missy probably thought she had a chance. Old lady with the busted foot making it to final three? I've gotta be in there! To watch her hopes crushed on television... mmmm. It was so yummy.

I'm a bad person.
