I think Jac should have sent Nat packing. That was the power move and might have shown she had some the balls to make ruthless decisions to better her own game. I do not buy too much into Probst's after-the-fact quick vote in the reunion to see how people would have voted. Keith was a bumbling buffoon and anyone with half a braincell could have dismissed his playstyle in a jury speech. He can be a nice and amicable redneck, but that is not why he was at the final tribal. Clueless coat tail rider to the bitter end.

Reed's epic tribal speech.. wow! THANK FUCK he stood by his words, even if he tried to sugar coat a tiny bit by saying "the game version of Missy" because we all fucking know that personality was 100% her own and had nothing to do with gameplay. She's just a bitter cunt that needed someone to call her on her shit.

Alec, close the gaping mouth breather hole for just a few seconds please! I think the camera intentionally kept panning to him for the lols.

For the upcoming season "Worlds Apart", I found this interesting Probst quote:

?Person for person and pound for pound, I will say that this is the best group of people I think we?ve ever had,? says Probst. ?That doesn?t mean there aren?t duds in the cast, but if you just had to take one entire group of people, I love this group. And I don?t often come up front anymore and say I really like a season because I know that that?s very biased and it?s my own opinion. But just my own Jeff Probst opinion?I have not seen a second of footage cut yet. Just based on my experience, this was one of my favorite seasons of all time.?

?We learned a valuable lesson with Blood vs. Water 2,? Probst explains. ?And that lesson was, we got so excited with Blood vs. Water the first time that we wanted to do it again. So we put it on the books and said, ?Let?s do it! And now let?s go cast it.? And that was a mistake, which in hindsight sounds so simple. How could you ever make that mistake? But we did. We got excited. And we got ahead of ourselves. And it put us in a situation where we were casting to a theme rather than just finding the best people and then figuring out what the theme is. So we learned from that and then went back out for this season and found the best people we could find.?

Fingers crossed!

I love how Jeff isn't afraid to say he/they fucked up. It's such a breath of fresh air as a former Big Brother fan.

how do ppl want to rate s29, bad or redeemed towards the end?

I'm leaning towards bad, while natalie made moves, it was only possible b/c of the low IQ idiots she was working with. Much like the bunch of retards they gave rob so he could win.

Yeah, that's pretty much why it was bad in my opinion. She barely stood out, but it didn't take much to beat a bunch of idiots.

You could've started the season an episode before merge and not miss anything.

Yea, there have been a lot worse seasons. There was a couple great blindsides and a few lulzworthy dramas. Plus one epic tribal speech that will probably go down in history as one of the best. Lots and lots of nonexistent gameplay though. It was staggering how many people just floated on through. Bad casting strikes again! Overall worth a watch for a survivor fan and from merge forward it's not too bad at all.

The jury speech was my all time favorite Survivor moment. I wish the baseball player would have made it farther.

This. If Missy had somehow won, my whole tune would change and I'd probably be saying this was the worst ever, but with that Final Tribal speech and only getting her daughter's vote? Definitely better than some of the seasons where you knew exactly how the game was going to play out after the merge. I think having people that didn't know the game so intimately led to some things happening that made for great drama during the part of the game that is usually a snoozefest.

Maybe I just expect more at season 29. The speech was by far the most interesting part. I also never warmed up to Nat. She annoyed the piss out of me.

For me Season 29 was watchable but I'm coming from a Big Brother view and if that season was bad then any season is pretty much good for me. I wish I wasn't such a late comer to Survivor though. This last season of Big Brother was beyond terrible.

Yeah, I really enjoyed this season of the Amazing Race as well.
