JK wasn't bad, but I only got as far as Hoth on Scoundrel. Trooper was all right. I absolutely hated Consular, though. Male consular voice didn't help, either. Empire voice actors shat all over the Republic side.

I thought the Trooper was by far the worst. I haven't done all of them. Working on IA now and it's like I'm playing a completely different production.

IA seems to be accepted as one of the best story lines in SWTOR. I loved it from start to finish. They capture that spy feeling perfectly. Was like being James Bond. I also enjoyed Sith Warrior as a Dark Side Jugg too. I felt like Vader towards the end of the story line and Juggs look badass.

I'm playing a Marauder right now and I am finding it very enjoyable. Enjoyable enough that I went ahead and subscribed again. It was VERY squishy at first, but shit is just melting now on Alderaan.

Light-leaning Imperial Agent was hilarious the whole way. How many times does someone you reported dead have to show up alive before your bosses start to realize you haven't killed anyone in 40 levels? They even ask "So, hey, we've heard that dude's alive, are you sure you got him?" "Yep" "Oh, okay, must be a bad ID."

Eh so I decided to reinstall. I logged into my account and notices all the cartel coins from a few months ago are all gone. So did I bone myself by not spending them before I quit? Do they expire?

They shouldn't expire, I've still got all of my cartel coins and I've been unsubbed most of the time since cartel coins existed.

I'm thinking it might be easier just to sub for a month, and get my Consular and Marauder to 55 that way, plus you get ROTHC free that way, correct?
Correct. Been playing my Sniper for the last week or two doing PVP and enjoying it well enough.

This Starfighter Expansion is awesome. It just opened up a few days ago for me, and I have had a blast playing all weekend. Looks like they already have plans to add to it, so I will keep playing for the foreseeable future. I won't sub though, there is still no reason to do that.

So yeah, this game is doing pretty damn good, money wise...

Supposedly this is only through the item shop too. Subs are not counted in. As with WoW on that chart. Still not bad. For all those haters saying this game is a loss, I beg to differ.

Proof that there are plenty of fools willing to drop cash on that steaming pile. Perhaps the most successful single player mmorpg in history? They weren't kidding when they say the Star Wars name is a license to print money.

WoW has turned into the most successful single player MMORPG in history and if you argue that point then you obviously haven't leveled a toon recently. I'm not arguing that SWTOR isn't, just that you're encompassing a single aspect of the game as if it's the entire game. SWTOR has the same focus on group content at the end game that every other MMORPG has. And in that respect it's fairly healthy. When I play I constantly see Operation pick up groups forming, and both PvP and GSF queues are short throughout the day (even if quality of play varies). SWTOR is very much alive and well, and it'll be interesting to see where they go from here since they've essentially "finished" the initial storyline centered around the Dread Masters. A friend of mine who used to work for them on their web content team (before the purge) said they had a ten year story plan in place long long before release. So yeah, definitely not going anywhere.

WOW at release was no where near as easy as it is today. Most games are toned down after they have been out as long as WOW has, even EQ as far as the leveling goes.

SWTOR from day 1 was was a joke as far as leveling goes. Nothing more to say about that other than a few decent story lines. As far as the raiding goes. Myself, and a few other guildies on our first night of raiding pulled out literally 3-4 pieces each of best in slot gear at the time, off the very first raid we entered. The first boss in fact, the gatekeeper in Eternity Vault was able to be soloed.

Shame really. Had so much potential, but in the end they really just had no clue how to build a proper MMO.

SWTOR leveling with the storylines was great, but I agree it has nothing to do with an MMO. It's a single player element tacked into an MMO.

WOW leveling in Vanilla was super easy. There was no danger, and it was engineered to be fun and easy, especially compared to EQ. Did you play EQ in 99?

It probably took about the same time to go 1-50 as it does in SWTOR. I think you're confusing leveling with raiding. SWTOR raiding was easy because of the amount of people who have been raiding in the same nature for 12+ years.
