Is it pretty laggy to stream HD to the tablet?I use MX Video player as well for watching stuff on my tablet. I use Plex for streaming stuff from my computer to my tablet, although I very rarely do that and normally just transfer stuff to my SD card.
for streaming media checkout orbhttps://mycast.orb.com/orb/html/login.html. they have iphone and android apps ($9.99 free if accessing on PC). My brother-in-law has this and gave me the account info and it works pretty well.Yeah sorry just a media player. But I wouldn't be opposed to some application that allows me to access my computer's files on the LAN and play them w/o having to transfer to the tablet.
Just got my wife a Samsung Ativ 500T with full Windows 8 and it's a pretty amazing tablet experience.I think Windows 8 is a beautiful mobile OS.

the 16gig 10" hd+ is 150 until the 16th. 32gig is 180. 7" version is 130.
So a Galaxy Note 10.1 is like $500, Nexus 10 is $450, what else is out there? $150 does seem like a great deal for something 9" to use sitting on the couch and to play P&D on.In case anyone missed it, B&N extended this "limited time" deal.
