I then made a full multi-sentence paragraph about the box office prospects of the film, something that I do find interesting. So I wasn't even just shit posting.

Like I said, if shit like that has been used in a commercial or happened to be in a TV show or movie, I might have heard it. It doesn't mean I know who's singing it, what the song title or lyrics are, or would be able to identify the tune later on. I sometimes Shazam interesting songs I hear in a commercial or some other media but it's never been one of hers thus far.

Look up Kody Lee singing "It's biblical" on American Idol. It's a pretty stellar performance. And Kelly Clarkson's song "Piece by Piece" is also pretty great. There are good songs from American Idol, and while Simon Cowell can be a douche, he's a master at spotting talent and making people into celebrity talent.
