ok did not like that at all. Went to space.com got a feed with 2 idiot women nattering , said fuck that went to SpaceX and got the same feed. Successful take off , 1st stage landing , etc but just the 2 chicks that misspoke most of the time , they didn't even put the countdown up when it got to around 20 sec. The graph that runs on the bottom with what's happening , air speed , etc, nada.
It was probably because the Falcon Heavy is so common now that no one even notices or tunes in, or maybe they promised NASA they wouldn't sensationalize it.

dunno. I really enjoy watching the takeoffs in real time. Especially the 1st stage landing. Really sucked hearing um - ah - er um instead of what is actually going on.

NASA takes over the entire streaming when they have one of those. I still remember making fun of SpaceX's YouTube stream cutting to 720P max instead of 1080P when it was a "joint"-NASA stream.

Based on the maps I saw online, parts of Canada might have been able to see it. I don't think it extended far enough south for the continental US to see anything sadly.

I'm curious if your Seestar is capable of this kind of shooting.

It's like anything else , the more time you spend shooting a target, the more detail you get. I usually set up and shoot 1 thing all night (or until it's out of range) I'm going to post something shortly that was only 45 minutes of imaging. The most time I spent on an image was M16 I zoomed in on the 'pillars of creation'. Seestar is a hobby toy , not a serious telescope. But I knew that when I bought it. If I'm honest, I enjoy this way more than actual big ass telescopes. I had a 4K 12" Meade telescope that did nothing but frustrate me. By the time I'd get it set up and aligned, my back was aching way too much to shoot pretty much anything.
