They're awesome. They had a passionfruit berlinerweisse that almost made me move to be able to buy it.I toured a brewery right down the street from me last weekend called Funky Buddha Brewery. I had never had their beer before, but they had some pretty good stuff. I had their OP Porter and their Triple Lindey Tripel Hop. Both were exceptional.
Picked up 2 bottles on my way home, and I'm sure I'll find a ton more to go around. Pretty happy I didn't go up. I'd love to do Kate the Great day once, but if it's as bad as you talk about I really just can't give a fuck to get there. They need to do away with these stupid days. Kate the Great day is the same exact way at Portsmouth brewery. I don't know why they can't brew it more often/make bigger batches so they don't have to have these absolutely awful one day release events. They succeeded in creating the hype train, now they should allow it to get out of the station instead of throwing dynamite on the tracks.
I went to Kate day once and I'll never go back because of how terrible the experience was. I'd gladly go to Portsmouth during limited release events if I had a one or two day window and didn't need to drive up there at 2 am just for a chance at it.
the problem is your taste buds are broken. That might be my least favorite Sierra Nevada beer. :-\
which one?Been pretty into Clown Shoes brewery lately - have tried about 15 different kinds and have only been let down once so far.
Clown Shoes has some great brews - Tramp Stamp, Muffin Top, Galactica & Billionaire are good. I'm not big on barleywines, but Billionaire is a treatBeen pretty into Clown Shoes brewery lately - have tried about 15 different kinds and have only been let down once so far.
I had muffin top last week and it was pretty good. Clementine sells absurdly well around here.Clown Shoes has some great brews - Tramp Stamp, Muffin Top, Galactica & Billionaire are good. I'm not big on barleywines, but Billionaire is a treat
