Basically players of similar reputation levels will be grouped together for games where possible. This means all the idiots that scream and play music/memes/etc will sink to the bottom and get to play together, based off of not just feedback reports but how frequently you're muted and blocked. If you form a party of friends, your party rating is that of the lowest person in the group.

Another reason to hate it. I was given bad reputation in L4D2 for no reason other than I was tired and didn't want to play anymore. So I received a negative mark. Anyone can abuse this at any time for any reason.

It's been a tumultuous week at Microsoft, and the reorganization we heard rumors of seems to be moving ahead. The implications for Xbox development are profound, as platform responsibilities might now be split across multiple departments.

According to Bloomberg, corporate vice president of Windows Program Management Julie Larson-Green is CEO Steve Ballmer's current pick to lead Xbox development. Unfortunately, she wouldn't be a direct replacement for Don Mattrick, who left the company to take over the CEO role at Zynga this week.

The reorganization will put all hardware, including Xbox and Surface tablets, under Larson-Green. Since she began at Microsoft in 1993, Larson-Green has been responsible for early versions of Internet Explorer, the overhaul to Microsoft Office, and interface design for Windows 7 and Windows 8. Larson-Green holds a master's degree in software engineering and a bachelor's degree in business administration.

Rumors also place Skype president Tony Bates at the head of a new division focused on acquisitions, mergers, and relationships with software developers. The latter is a crucial function for game platforms.

We've reached out to Microsoft and were told that the company does not comment on rumors or speculation.

It's still leagues better than the Danny Boyle inspired nightmare fuel they were using for the launch of the PS3. At least that ad doesn't make me feel like I need to check myself into rehab after receiving some bizarre contact high from my television.

I don't like his Francis stuff usually but I was laughing watching this one. Watch his "real videos". He gives a lot of advice and hope for suicidal and depressed kids that write to him every week. It was something inspiring whenI found that out.

Because, by creating a new pool to stick these people in rather than outright banning them, Microsoft can continue to get $5 a month from them. It should also discourage some of these people from just creating a new account to continue their stupidity like they do now, since Microsoft isn't preventing them from playing, just sticking them with their own ilk.
