But making silly insults like Araysar does cause much butthurt, so don't do that guys, or he who never uses his mod power will do so.Alright guys, listen up. Apparently the term "PCfags" hurt some people's feels. Thusly, PCFags, Consolefags, Console Peasants, PC Master Race, and all such terms are Off Limits. Too many feels have been hurts.
(*This post entirely made in jest, anyone bitching about any of those things is just plain gol-darn hilarious.)
How about your weeabo ass can go fuck yourself in trying to decide what this thread is about?Go make a PC MASTER RACE Master AWESOMES thread.
If gaming is a hobby for you, sure and there's nothing wrong with that but only if it isn't a serious passion. When just about every game is on a computer you sure can skip it.
PC does have a lot of advantages, but people still buy console games in droves and will continue to do so. The PC versions of games are still by far the minority in sales, because not everyone wants to play games on PC. People like consoles, this is something that PC people find really hard to accept for some reason. PC "makes the most sense" to you, but not to everyone. I will still be having a console as my primary game machine this next generation, because I prefer to buy and play games on one over dealing with PC shit.Well, to be fair, the thread does say Xbone Vs PS4 Vs PC. So since this thread is not based on consoles only, I do not think it is out of bounds at all to discuss why people should bypass this console generation entirely, especially since Steam has their shit together with great gaming deals, and with cross platform development, PC ports utilize the same type of controller control natively, with an addition of running in higher resolution and more power. The price difference after accessories isn't far off these days. Add in additional yearly fees to play games online which doesn't exist on the PC, the same functionality for Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime - - Aside from some exclusives, the long run haul compared to what we have seen on market place pricing for Xbone (A joke) and even taking account better deals on the PS store and value of PS Plus - with Steam sales, mod-ability of PC games, the only thing really holding anyone from just using a PC in their living room becomes 8-10 games over the spam of a consoles life.
It isn't like these are the days of SNES/Genesis, or even 360/PS3 any longer. The market has changed in a rapid PC comeback, and with Sony and MS being so behind the 8-ball while the nickel and diming continues, PC makes the most sense when looking at overall cost to value. Again, purely in most part because of Steam, GMG, GOG, and new Amazon digital deals.
I completely disagree. With the advent of Steam, cheaper gaming prices, console ports over to PC, and cheaper PC pricing models with better value. Considering all the consoles are doing is trying to become closer to a PC in the living room, you may as well just put a PC in the living room. With the added benefit of not being charged 49-59 a year for online functionality, with the same friend lists and ease of use. PC's are not difficult any longer. And as we have seen with a lot of console releases, online play is still equally as buggy on initial launch regardless of platform due to load, bad coding, etc. As of this point, again aside from exclusives, when I look at consoles this gen it's another way to add pay wall services to what should be free with a box purchase of a game - * Especially * when all these games are doing for the most part are using the peer to peer services and server migration via client side, including a consumers bandwidth. The last 3 pages of discussion are as relevant to console talk as it is necessary that PC is an option on the poll.
That is to say, it is not necessary.
That's still pretty damned awful. It's pretty retarded that they are down to around 20 bucks and that Sony is just massively price gouging on them.Vita memory cards aren't AS gouged now - 32MB is $72 something now.Amazon.com: 32GB PlayStation Vita Memory Card: Video Games
This was available online for a little bit too. It was in stock for shipping when I first saw the deal, but I decided the 16gb one I have is good enough. That's still pretty damned awful. It's pretty retarded that they are down to around 20 bucks and that Sony is just massively price gouging on them.
The lowest I've seen them though is $45 at Bestbuy, sadly it was in-store only and there's not one around here. Not sure if the deal is still going on or not:32GB Sony PlayStation Vita Memory Card $45 + Free In-Store Pickup (Best Buy My Best Buy Account + Gamers Club Required) - Best Buy Deals, Coupons and Promos
Edit: Looks like it is over, the lowest you can get it from there now is $60 which still totally sucks.
