By the time sleeping dogs came to PS+, I had bought it on steam for $5. That may have been a pricing mistake I jumped on, but I've seen it at $6-7 a few times after. Also, it's not really "free" as much as it's "pay per month to continue playing" and it's a gamble since you never know what games you're going to get (usually once a game gets heavily discounted to 75%, I see it on PS+ 2-3 months later). The vita deals are basically the only thing that's made it worth it for me: Uncharted, gravity rush, rayman origins, and some of the psp offers are all games I've gotten a lot more playtime out of than expected, but I probably wouldn't have purchased on their own. The discounts PS+ got for vita ($3 for katamari, $20 for soul sacrifice, persona 4 golden, $15 for metal gear HD collection) along with $3 for tokyo jungle and journey on ps3 have basically been the only reason I'm keeping it.
It's been worth it since I picked up my vita, but I think thats just because there was too much overlap between ps3, 360 and PC to the point where I had always had an earlier deal on the ps3 offerings. And the games I would consider awesome are just so old that I feel like everyone's already played it if they were remotely interested: IE- demons souls in 2013, little big planet, and so forth.
