This isn't some fucking low level employee addressing the issue, its the fucking president. Its been confirmed by multiple sources, the president of the company has addressed it. Its not an issue for anyone but a couple people looking for something to bitch about and refusing to back down when they're demonstrably proven incorrect.

You haven't proven anything incorrect. All you have is him saying he has spoken to the dev team and at some point in the future it may (never said will) be considered. You can quote all the gamer blogs and tweets you like, but until an official Sony source uses that 'will' word, it's still up in the air, and consumers interested in this feature have the right to be concerned.

He did indeed address the problem. Unfortunately, he gave no concrete statement.
'I've spoken to the dev team', 'future consideration' is a far cry from 'we will support this feature in a future firmware update'. Which, since he is the President, he could have easily said. There was no need to be ambiguous unless he intended on it.

That's fine and your option - sit over here with me in the Wave 2/3 system group (although my complaint is the slim pickings on games I'm that excited about with Driveclub and Watch Dogs being delayed).
Although as a point for the "its coming" - they even changed the FAQ to add in an asterisk stating it's under consideration.

I'm going to hit up Target early tomorrow and try and snag Killzone, Knack and Ass Creed 4 in the buy two get one free dealio. Was thinking about buying them digital but trying to download games that size on day one on the psn seems like a recipe for disappointment.
