I've always preferred the ps controller to the xbox controller, but, that being said, I don't sit around thinking about my controllers much, and regularly use a 360 controller for PC ports.

The only thing that I can say with certainty is the 360 controller is outright shit for fighting games, and makes your hands hurt like a bitch trying to play one on it.

I don't get nitpicking about controllers. I liked the N64 controller ffs.

Yeah, I use a 360 pad for all my PC games that use a pad. The d-pad continues to suck and annoy me.

I'm literally an hour from the shipping center.. I'm not in bum fuck nowhere. I ordered it early the day it was available for pre-order. They sent me an email last night specifically stating they're shipping my unit Friday and not before then. So yea, amazon.ca is fucking anyone who pre-ordered enmasse and I messaged their customer service rep asking to that effect, I was really hoping it just a matter of demand that mine got bumped but no, they fucked everyone.

Yeah, that 360 dpad is definitely shite.

That being said, I never use it for fighting games. Use a stick which is better then any Dpad

If you guys are worried about having to sign, just put a piece of paper on your door with a note authorizing whoever the delivery company is to leave the package and sign and date it. My dad did this all the time on signature required stuff.

Just make sure they can take the piece of paper.

With that said, I cannot wait until I just walk into a Best Buy this weekend and can pick one up if I feel like it because they have thousands of the things all over the place.

I wish I had access to a UPS/Amazon broadcast where I could send out a mass email stating: "Due to cold/flu bugs infecting folks around our warehouse, we are short staffed. We will ship your console in the same order it was received. Latest delivery will be December 1st. Thanks for your business"

Yeah I dunno whats up with that, what I'm reading is this happens a lot specifically with Amazon.ca and release date delivery.

Sucks to be a Canuck I guess?

But hey, at least you guys have a working single payer health plan.

Not sure why that would be an epic loss for the resellers. If they have more inventory, they sell more units. When they don't have inventory, they don't sell units.

Not sure I am following you. It would be in the best interests of both parties to simply have a ton of inventory.

epic loss for resellers because you and everyone else can stroll into the store and get one and not have to go to ebay and buy one for a thousand bucks. I'm not sure where you don't understand that...

Resellers, not retailers. I meant the resellers who buy/sell on Ebay in hopes that there will not be sufficient inventory in normal avenues. I'm all for the actual retailers having shitloads of inventory.
