Yeah, that's what I said. I said all of Europe. Oh wait no I didn't. The largest portion of distribution is NA, PARTS OF EUROPE (for Sean who needs to find something to get pissed about every time I post), Australia, New Zealand and Brazil.

So 529 million in NA, 331 million in the European launch countries, 198 million in Brazil, and 27 in NZ/Australia combined.

80% of the purchasing population is in NA and Europe.

So, basically NA and Europe.

It's probably not unfair to say though that these 7 countries account for mabye 80ish percent of the european video game market (guestimate).

Now now, dirty console peasants, please don't post such garbage insults. Both the PS4 and XboxOne are very successful, high quality machines.

Hey look, a dude that can't afford a PC AND a console. Peasant indeed.

You might need to read up on the word "successful."

Well I will say that right now my Xbone is a Bluray / Amazon instant video player that I can talk to and the PS4 sits idle most of the time. It would be the HBO Go machine as it is hooked up in the mancave, but the 360 still has that job because HBO Go aint on PS4 yet.

I'm eagerly awaiting reasons to play games on these things.

My PS4 is sitting idle too. The kids bot have been playing on the 360. They have not touched the PS4 in weeks other than to play netflix at night before bed.

Seems to be the common thing amongst us PS4 owners. All I do on mine is watch blu ray and netflix as well.

I still don't get the "no game for PS4" thing. For me there are three reasons to have nothing to play on a PS4:

1) Owning a good gaming PC and playing all multiplatform games on it.
2) Having very narrow taste in games - only into JRPG, not touching a game if it's bellow 95 on metractrics, etc.
3) Playing so much that you burn through the available games.

EDIT: I'll add 4) Having too much great games on the backlog to play good games on PS4.

A reminder of the 75+ games on Metacritics:

The LEGO Movie Videogame
Killzone: Shadow Fall (73 but I put it anyway).

Full retail sports games:

FIFA 14
NBA 2K14

I have 11 of those (and a couple not listed due to the nonsensical rating restriction - people buy/play the other games too) and after a few months I have little urge to play many of them because I've had them all for pretty much that entire time outside of a couple of stragglers.

Same goes for the handful of Xbox One games I have.

My PS3 backlog and HS have been keeping me away. Do really enjoy it though for the stuff on it though. Just too much other stuff.

Yep, hasnogaemz

Really though, in it's current stat it has nothing but ports a lot of people have already played or play on something else.

I am just more interested in what's coming than playing what we have now. Mostly Titanfall, Infamous, Diablo III, and maybe The Show, perhaps the inevitably free on PS+ Knack and get back into FF14 when it's re-released for PS4.

In my limited gaming time I've just ended up tinkering with Marvel Heroes and EQ Landmark. Played a ton of Madden (bought it twice this year), a full season (80+ games?) of MyPlayer in NBA2k, some NFS, Killzone, enough of the PS+ titles to not feel like my membership is being wasted and to grow even more apathetic of indies, enough of Ryse and Dead Rising to get a fix but not burn out, enough of Forza to know that I need to stick to NFS games... a bit of Lego Marvel but it's my 3rd copy, getting a little tired of it but will get back to it eventually. I've done my bingeing on next gen games, I'm just consuming the content I enjoy quicker than it's being released and my gaming ADD is in full effect. Will get Injustice shortly, would prefer waiting for another $35 or less sale again. Just binged on the comics, holy hell.

Haven't turned on my PS3 since next gen got here, nothing coming to change that thus far, should go ahead and sell it. Stopped even getting the free PS+ games (most of which I own on PC anyways), I've moved on.
