So 175$ trade in cred at gamestop for a ps3 toward a new ps4... I think its time to upgrade... can get the last of us bundle for like 225. I just have to trade in my 120gb slim... my 4usb BC 60gb is hanging in there and is my "main" player/streamer etc. but I would rather trade it in and keep the 120gb...

FYI if anyone is thinking of buying the Handsome Jack edition on the PS4, I would advise against it.

Played it at a buddys house tonight, and it is one terrible port. Horrible, and inconsistent frame rate, texture pop in, and blurry chunky textures.

Those games don't look anywhere near as good as the PC version.

Had he fully downloaded it? It was doing that for us when the wife was playing it when it had just finished downloading but still had another 20 GB or so to do in the background - but it looks as good as max settings on my PC for BL2 (don't have BL:pS on PC to compare against)

They're quoting same as me though on BL2 (not tried the PS as part of it to be honest besides the brief load-in she did at first by accident, forgot that it's the tougher one to control and switched almost immediately) - BL2 that she's actually put a few hours into was at least as gorgeous as PC if not better.

So probably just a bug of some sort with PS.

Who cares about BL2, the pre sequel is what most people are purchasing it for. You can get BL2 for like nothing now. That game is old as shit

The pre sequel runs like hot garbage, and there is no excuse for it.

Also from the game radar review

I'm not entirely sure what causes it, but each time I loaded up Borderlands 2, there was a chance that the framerate would either run buttery smooth or become inexplicably choppy. When the framrerate dips, it's not unplayable.

So yeah there is issues across the board. Save your money and buy the PC version, and play the superior version

I don't disagree with that, but with how BL2 runs, it does give solid evidence that they'll probably clean up the PS issues like they're trying to. Since BL2 isn't having such problems. There's zero reason BL2 should run drastically better than PS like it does right now, so it should be a non-issue once the patch comes down the pipe.

[And considering how much better BL2 was than the PS - I would find it weird that there's not others actually running through BL2 to take rust off first like she's doing...]

Thanks for PS4 feedback. Am in no rush to buy it atm, so i guess a black friday or next xmass special will happen eventually with slim version etc. Will keep an eye out.

best buy is running a sale on AC:Unity for $20 ($16 gcu), Far Cry 4 $30, Battlefield Hardline $30 ($24 gcu) and also b2g1 free on used games. If you bought hardline at launch you can call in to price adjust, I ended up paying $21 for my copy and traded it in for $38.50 last week. Thanks, EA!

After putting in a shitload of hours into FF:0 and Bloodborne, I can now say with satisfaction that the PS4 was a worthwhile purchase. Prior to that it has been collecting dust since December.
