Can anyone explain to me why both my Wii U and Roku 3 are better at streaming than my piece of shit PS4? Am I doing something wrong here?

I have Frozen streaming through Plex web app to my Wii U for my kid right now in big-dick-baller 1080p. Smooth as silk. On the PS4? Stutters and stammers like a motherfucker. What's going on? I refuse to believe the PS4 has inferior hardware to the other devices I mentioned.

I've only ever used my ps4 to stream the Powers show but its always been fine.

Oh Ya, the native PS4 streaming apps/services work just fine. Problem only seems to occur through the browser.

I wonder, did they do this on purpose to coerce people to buy a Plex pass or use their on demand service more? I have to assume that's the case, since the decision to exclude DLNA has always baffled me.

I can't for the life of me get Plex to stream smoothly to my PS4. I've given up at this point until they get a native DLNA support in.

Just an FYI if you own a Vita with the newest update you can remote play at 60 fps. It's so smooth now I can't even tell the difference.

Have to update the Vita software

make sure "use Wi-fi in Power Save Mode" is disabled on the Vita. ( can get to this from remote play under the Vita system settings)

Then go to remote play with Vita PS4 button, launch it, click settings, and change quality from default standard to high.

I fixed Plex by changing the video stream setting setting to maximum (not sure where that option is in the PS4). This prevents your Plex server from trying to transcode. I keep it on maximum for my Xbone and FireTV and has fixed my past issues.

Best buy has BF:Hardline for $40 right now, $32 if you have GCU. Also has AC:Unity for $20 ($16 with GCU) if you waited to pick it up like I did.

Wasn't sure were to ask this but figured enough of you all had PS3's, I just picked up Dirt 3 and Gran Turismo and was trying to figure out what racing wheel to use. Any suggestions? This is my first foray into racing games so pretty lost on the subject.

The "Go to" wheel is usually the latest model of Logitech Driving Force. Last I checked that was the GT, but no idea what they're up to now.

pretty good haul today, got PS4 Wolfenstein:TNO for $12 clearance at Target (some people said its also that price for xbox one but mine wasn't), picked up AC:paris for $16 at Best Buy, and got a free PS4 camera there too since this week they have a bundle offer of free camera with PS4 purchase and I bought a new PS4 2 weeks ago. now back to bloodborne

target also had b1 g1 50% off on most games, a bunch of vita games on clearance at $8-14, and a few 3DS games at $15 (Mario Land 3d, Super Mario 3D, Mario kart 7)

September do you wanna do the coop with Sukik and I ? 2 player legendary is tough prefer 3 people. Way more relaxing. Maybe get Zarcath involved. We can do ODST when it releases this summer.
