This dude kicks open a bathroom door and then grabs someone by the hair. She then stabbed him. This from HIS side of the story. Sounds like self defense to me.

Then again, fuck her, she deserves to get railroaded.

I would think it's because of the amount of time that passed between the attack and the stabbing.

Article is a little light on exactness but it does show that he'd retreated outside of the room and she came after him. After repeatedly failing to stab him and then giving him a chest wound (I don't know) but it's not that hard to concoct a scenario where she sucker-stabbed him as he was leaving. If that's what actually happened, yeah that's probably 2nd degree murder.

Probably had she successfully stabbed him to death when he kicked the door open and grabbed her hair, she would have gotten off. But it reads like she came back at him after he withdrew from the conflict, so then she becomes the aggressor.

Also she lied about where she stabbed him.

And in North Carolina if she'd just finished the job right there she would have probably been released. If she'd been smart enough to say that the fight continued throughout the house -- it sounds like it was conflicting testimony that screwed her more than physical evidence.

Her mistake and misfortune was in first not killing him right there in the hallway and second in the fact that he died from his wounds.

Of course if he'd lived she'd probably be dead instead of in jail. He was probably her pimp.

Like, shit obviously didn't happen the way that she said it did, and it was more congruent with the way the dead guy said it happened. You really can't tell a lie to the jury that conflicts with the basic evidence you find at the crime scene.

We put old WHITE guys in jail for trying that bullshit. For a while at least. Fucking Peterson, they should have executed that fucking yankee when they had the chance. Or at least let Tyrone do it for in the showers.

I don't think that's a public school though. Maybe it is, but it sounds more like one of those after-school schools or summerschools that people pay to send their kids to. Either that or a charter school.
