I am not shitting either on that Trollface. After I got out of the Navy, I went to school for 2 years and stopped going when I ran out of money. Started working at Harrah's as a dealer while judging magic tournaments and qualifiers. Had plans with some friends to possibly move to Vegas and try playing blackjack professionally, but working at Harrah's for a couple years cured me of wanting to do that. Was barely making ends meet and didn't want to take on loans because I didn't want to have debt. Instead, for 5 years I basically spun my wheels doing fuckall.
Then one day I looked around at my life, said fuck it, and went all-in with school again. Took out some grants, then some loans. Went to school for 3 years fully on loans. Started working as a TA, then a research assistant, then a graduate teaching assistant. Now I have my doctorate. Do it bro, you won't regret it.
