The angle they played for a while, that somehow the Vikings didn't have AP's back enough during the legal disputes, was absolutely disgusting. People hate AP up here now and honestly everyone was pretty much ready to just move on if he would just report and play.

Both him and his agent are crazy to the extreme. I still don't think AP thinks he did anything wrong.

Wonder who will gamble day 2 and take DGB? Kid has top 5 talent. If he has a good mentor who knows....maybe St Louis god knows Britt was an idiot before.

Pittsburgh needs to somehow get Collins from LSU in round 2 and this draft could be a win already.

Playing games to get to Dallas. That's all. I already forgive him.

Well that dream is dead for you now.
And there's Peterson's agent imploring the Vikings to show financial commitment. I suppose only Jerry would be crazy enough to deal with that so it's a good thing he's a) not at the wheel anymore and b) that the Vikings are holding fast to making AP play for them next year or not play at all.

BTW, it's been great reading things from Eagles fans today. In the same breath they criticize Kelly for offering the world for the #2 pick and the Titans for not taking it. Proof positive that Philly fans really are the worst.

If that report about the Eagles offer is true, turning it down will end up being the non-trade equivalent of the RGKnee trade. One of the worst of all time.

Hmmm. Thought they snagged that receiver out of USC? Wasn't he considered the best fit for Kelly's system outside of Cooper who they had no shot at getting?
/shrug

I cannot speak for the fans of Philly but I did see a few that lamented letting Maclin walk only to replace him with himself in rookie form. So if he was a fit for the system, given how much cap space they had, they basically already had him and in a much more polished state.

Edit: Jesus, what a word salad. Anyway Agholor was compared to Maclin by a few people, which is why this ultimately makes no sense.

So are the Colts just already preparing for T.Y. Hilton to leave soon, or are they just going to throw the ball 60 times a game? I guess it's good that Houston got a cornerback. They're sure as fuck gonna need it going up against Indy twice a year.

Gregory must be a real tool if no one would take him in the first and someone traded up for shane ray, a guy who gets busted with weed a few days before the draft.

I always had my doubts about Gregory, I couldn't believe it when "experts" were projecting him as one of the top 2 or 3 DE/OLBs in the draft. He's a 230lb DE, and not overly fast despite that he's so much lighter than most other defensive ends. Hell, at 230lbs he's undersized for a LB in the NFL

Several thoughts:

Andre may only be with us for one year if he isn't awesome. Two year max regardless.
If Luck can dump the ball off instantly a shoddy O Line won't hurt us as much.
What were we going to draft in the first round we can't get later? An O Lineman? None were worthy of us potentially losing an awesome receiver to go with our awesome quarterback in the first round. We'll get some big beef later.
Helps in re-negotiations with TY next year.
