Well its a $12 mil cap hit they unloaded and traded their seventh for a fifth in the process. If they didn't like the guy's performance then why not?

Well, he's actually a decent player, just not worth the contract. If he was getting 5 million instead of 12 nobody would give a shit. Their biggest issue is still the offensive line.

I feel like the trade, outside of the state of either team otherwise, is worse for the Vikes. They are now stuck dealing with that contract and what if the dude under performs there as well? You're looking at almost fourteen fucking mil each of the next two years. Is he worth extending to five years or something to smooth that out? Will he even agree to it?

Well that probably makes it easier for the Bengals to sign Michael Johnson with all that cap money the Vikes just inherited.

Miami freeing room makes sense. Vikings are definitely cutting AP then I guess? That would make sense since they are probably about two years from putting all the pieces together.

It would be a bad deal if Miami had any plans to keep Wallace. Getting something out of the guy is definitely better than nothing and losing that large contract is very useful with Suh being so damn expensive next year. I think Miami is trending up after this week which is a far different thought than what anyone would have believed after Geno Smith destroyed them. The AFC East is going to be rough!

It goes along with the philosophy of the team. Wallace clashed with Philbin, didn't get along with Tannehill, wasn't a hard worker and went against the morale of the locker room so he saw the door. Same thing that happened with Reggie Bush, Jake Long, Karlos Dansby, etc.

It's not a good trade but its not THAT BAD, we needed the cap space and it seems that we're committing to the two TE package with Clay and Cameron. This also gives us the opportunity to work on the offensive line in FA and spend draft picks on CB/S/WR/LB.
I do dislike Mike Wallace, he's a quitter and a prima donna. But I like consistency for RT more than I hate Wallace. He had a brand new OC last season and this season he's going in with a new scheme and an almost completely new WR package.

As far as Ellerbe goes, he fucking sucked at Miami. Straight up was awful, Ireland signed him to a huge contract with Wheeler and neither one of them played anywhere near the level they should have to earn that contract. He continually got burned in coverage and before his injury was MEH at stopping the run. Hopefully he does better in NO then he did in Miami because if not you guys got straight reamed.

Vegas currently has us favored to win the Super Bowl.
I would actually love to see that. The 49ers are a complete question mark next year but it would be a huge surprise if they were in the mix for the SB so I would love to see Luck get a ring and Gore fucking deserves one so I will be rooting for Indy in any game where they're not playing the 9ers next year.

Hi Cathan!
Don't even know who that is, he just seems to hate NO so figured something might have happen to him. I just don't post as much here because I admittedly cannot usually speak on the level which ya'll do about football.

-Means we probably got screwed on ellerbe then unless they can some how pull something out of him, who the fuck knows at this point.

Honestly it was probably a scheme issue. He was good at Baltimore before coming to Miami.

The only question mark about the 2015 49ers is whether or not they finish the season 0-16.

I know he hasn't been a world beater or anything, but I'm surprised Crabtree hasn't been picked up anywhere yet. I can only assume he's over valuing himself and asking for too much money.

Alright now this is getting a little ridiculous with the AFC East.

Patriots going after Stevie Johnson (Bills) and Reggie Bush (Dolphins) after signing Scott Chandler (Bills) and Brandon Gibson (Dolphins) and failing to get Brian Hartline (Dolphins)
Bills get Percy Harvin (Jets), Richie Incognito (Dolphins), and are trying for Charles Clay (Dolphins)
Jets only taking Darelle Revis (Patriots)
and then you have the Dolphins the only pure team in the league that realizes swapping sloppy seconds isn't the way to go.

Miami in talks with the Vikes about trading Wallace, FOR ADRIAN PETERSON!

No just kidding it's probably Cordarrelle Patterson and a draft pick. Not a good trade for Miami but we need the cap space.
dolphins truly the afce's model franchise

Once again, system guy, we draft them, develop them, make them look like stars then someone else overpays him in free agency and we just plug in someone else we drafted. This year its Pernell McPhee to the Bears, great player but probably not worth the contract.

Kinda funny that NO is adding Ellerbe after ditching Grubbs, who was another free agent from Baltimore, but O-line. He was a damn good guard for us though, no one wanted to see him go but it turned out ok.

This is what I assume. Of the "big" names left he is the only one I would consider. Chargers better not grab Harvin.
