Well that probably makes it easier for the Bengals to sign Michael Johnson with all that cap money the Vikes just inherited.
Now I know I've been hanging around you folks too long when I read this quote as "Michael Jordan" and thought the Bengals snagged Gronk from the Patriots before reading the rest of the line...

Jennings released by the Vikings. Miami maybe going after him now that he doesn't have a large contract.

From what I read about that a month or so ago he might have a legit complaint. Sounded like the team took the opportunity to can him while he was with his pregnant wife in the hospital. He probably deserves to be cut but I got the impression the Colts might have also done him dirty. Its not his fault they were dumb enough to trade for him.

It's over his suspension, which was a result of him missing team functions and failing to make weight 14 times. I don't think he's got much ground.

From what I understand, Trent Richardson is highly likely to win on appeal - those just aren't grounds to void a contract.

Yeah, Richardson sucks, but that's not enough to break the (terrible) trade they made for him.

Why in the world did the 49ers sign Reggie Bush?
Why not? He wasn't that expensive, can still be useful in certain down/distance situations and Hunter hasn't been able to stay healthy lately. I like him as a decent insurance policy.

I can easily see the 49ers being last in the NFC West that's for sure.
It could happen. Daniel Jeremiah gave me some hope on his podcast the other day though. He said that 49ers fans shouldn't be freaking out about losing these veterans because last year's draft was so good and most of these guys' replacements are already on the roster. That is not the consensus of most of the talking heads, but I consider DJ one of the best guys out there at evaluating players so him telling us not to worry carries some weight.

Yeah, I think the bigger issue is for sure the coaching staff. If you look at the roster top to bottom they actually have some really great talent still. Outside of the CB position where things appear pretty bleak. They still need Kaepernick to play much better than last year though.

All in all I just think there was way too much turnover on both the roster and coaching staff for them to overcome it all and be successful this next year. None of the coaching staff inspires any confidence that they will be able to lead these guys to a great season. Hopefully I'm wrong but I'm not holding my breath.
