Good signing. Wilfork will be the best 1-technique NT in the franchise's history. This should create more holes in offensive lines for blitzers to attack through as offensive lines are already have to account for JJ with two and Wilfork will probably take up another two blockers.

Cecil Shorts is a good signing, Wilfork I'd be worried he might not be able to stay healthy at this point in his career. Lotta weight to keep pushing around on aging joints and ligaments. If you can just manage any amount of consistency at QB that team should be able to compete for the division or at least a wild card. Maybe Hoyer can manage it, I really didn't get why they sat him in Cleveland last year considering who their other options were.
San Fran retires as a Franchise seeing as their immediate future seems to have no practical purpose other than moderate monetary gain.
