The Division 2

For those of you who didn't do much at L30 prior to the expansion, I would definitely recommend just rolling a boosted character. I made one this morning to see what it starts with and while the gear is just crappy purples you'll replace instantly with green/blue drops at 31+ the nice part is that it already has the 3 base specializations maxed out at 165/165. The Y1 stuff you're on your own with, but still... Demo is great for leveling to 40 with, and you can worry about maxing out Tactician if you ever feel like running a skill build (assuming they make them viable again at some point).

You get all of the sidequest blueprints, so you have a basic set of gun mods and the ability to craft some of the better guns (Police M4, Classic M60). Also, go to the clan vendor and buy a Zero Fs chest (then probably buy it again at 35-ish, then again at 40 because it has a maxed out CC roll for recal).

Is that really even worth bothering with? I mean, the recal table is segregated into 1-30 and 31-40, so it seems pointless to do anything with your old stash besides dismantle until full up on mats, and then vendor everything else for a cash boost. Far as I can tell there's no reason to put any of the gear you loot while leveling from 30 to 40 in your library either, except for talents. Maybe store a max stat roll if you get one on a high-end drop, but anything else will easily be beat with L40 gear rolls.

Yes, targeted LMG areas should drop the Negev. Also there's a BP for it from the same old bullshit CP3+/project grind. Still fucking bitter about that shit... couple hundred hours since I switched from PS4 to PC and I still don't have my damn sturdy 5.56mm extended mag back.

It's not, the new guns (Negev and Banshee) are part of TU8 and not just the WoNY xpac. And like I mentioned, there's a BP for it that you can get from any CP3+ if you're lucky (or already had all the old shit).

Not worth bothering with if you don't plan on playing 30's anymore, or just want a quick boost of maybe perfect rolls with your gear going into ny. I'm going to keep one character at 30 just to play with friends that might come back later, not sure how well 40 scales with those lower levels, as they've definitely upped the mob hp as you get higher in level. I was also full on all mats so I thought I might as well just recal all that shit and empty my stash out.

The 5.56 extended mag was like the last one I got out of the blueprints, fortunately I was running seeker build so it would one shot everything in cp4's. Ran three cp4's in ny, my god the bullet sponges, it's intended to have god rolled proper builds to run heroic difficulty but geez, took a good while to clear them in a duo, and then they gave me the blueprints other than hana that I wanted. I'm guessing cp4's in ny will start flipping with season play, as the new stuff probably doesn't drop in dc? gonna check in a bit and see if I can run some cp4's in dc.

They changed it in one of the title updates when they put all of the blueprints back into the CP pool. But I ground out all but like 2-3 armor blueprints finishing up my weapon mods over the weekend before NY released and CP4s were fine difficulty wise with my somewhat shit 4pc non-BTSU data gloves seeker build.

You could hover over the missing blueprints in the bench and it would tell you where they were from. Still missing the somewhat useless pistol light though since that's only from a specific mob underground?

No, you're right. It says CP4 in the description when you look at ones you don't have yet, but they have always dropped at CP3+ regardless. According to reddit/youtube, nothing has changed there and it's still not necessary to bump them to +4.

Also sometime between now and then they must of changed some of these attachments, because I rememebr the AR one giving like 20 more rounds, now it only gives 10. Same with the 7.62 LMG one.

The sidequest extended 5.56mm mag is +10. The CP3+/project BP is called "sturdy" extended and that one is +20.

At release they had those mags with negative effects and people complained, so they went and put in mods without negative effects, and people complained, so they put them back in on the blueprint drop list, they also put in a project for you to get a random blueprint out of there too, and off the crafting vendor. CP4's were also great to farm for exotics, I got a few merciless and btsu's off those, since you got a chance for drops off both bosses and the yellow box.

Just did cp4 in dc, hell of a lot tougher solo, and when I did get it I got attacked by two rogue agents npcs immediately lol, couldn't survive that, was out of armor kits and no time to restock ammo, then tutorial came up you can get attacked randomly by them and they drop good loot, might be interesting to farm these for a couple days.

Also got a piece of golan gear, so I guess new gear drops there too.

Did they scrap the old SHD system entirely? I noticed I only have 4 medkits now and apparently no way to increase it anymore. Unless I'm blind I don't seem to be getting xp bonuses for headshots, multikills etc. now either.

4 is the max, stealth adjustment. I think I still get multi xp bonuses, I'll have to pay attention when I play again tonight.

So who all is playing on PC? I need a new clan, and wouldn't mind grouping up for some stuff once I finish the story content.

I reinstalled last night and logged in for about 10 minutes. I didn't do anything but wander around and kill a few random guys in the street.

I thoroughly enjoyed this game at release, but shortly after hitting Tier 5 my interest dropped like a rock.

Is this game actually worth playing again or can I save myself a couple of frustrating days and uninstall?
