Yeah I did Wall Street, just story mode, in a 4-man PUG. Don't know if it was the group or not but that shit was a painful grind. Not looking forward to much endgame based on the reports I've been hearing. Will probsbly nmess around a little a build and some recalibration, get collectibles, etc to get my money's worth but not go too deep after that.

Just so dumb, Massive just never seems to learn. Fucking up the specialist point gains was just beyond retarded. That's princely the biggest

They had bullet sponges back in division 1 like patch 1.3-1.4, it was terrible then and it's terrible now. The scaling seems to be off, and you can definitely notice a difference when you jump from hard to challenging. The challenging DC stuff also seems easier than the challenging NY stuff. The other retarded thing is weak points and skill objects like the heal box the npcs have, have a huge amount of hit points because of the terrible scaling. Npcs don't seem to have the same cooldowns on skills like players, and their skills have better hit points than player skills, because again terrible scaling. I really hope they smooth out the scaling this next week now that most of the first week game breaking fires have been put out, although season starts this week....

People also were farming the dark zone shit the first week, which I hate, but they were getting all broken mythic level shit for a whole week and now are totally built out. They also need to work on EXP balance too. Peeps running back and forth doing PvE shit in dark zone amassing tons of levels when I have to do almost 2 challenging missions in about a hour to get a level while they are getting 5 in the same time.

The bullet sponginess and how meaningless amour is is straight up ridiculous. Doesn't take any more skill to play, just more tedium. I'm hoping with the general community backlash on these changes that no one asked for in TU8, they will revert back to save any goodwill that Massive for some mind-boggling fucking reason without fail continually squander away.

My shitty Hardwire build can do most challenging missions as long as I don't get swarmed by the AI that knows they can tank while flanking and I can't kill them in time. Seeker mines are broken/worthless at the moment though.

I could build a healing setup I guess, but I don't care to match make for stuff as I don't expect to be playing this much longer.

DZ faggots are still getting way more/better loot and xp compared to time invested anywhere else, that's about it. The PVE exploits got hotfixed fast, while the generally broken state of the game will linger around for weeks I'm sure.

Xpac itself is pretty sad; I've practically forgotten that NY exists after finishing the story and traveling back to DC. At this point all Div 2 is doing is just making the wait for Nioh 2 release even worse.

Edit: About the only change they made for TU8 that I REALLY like is the way you can set your world to Challenging and all the control points are immediately raised to level 3. Too bad it came with a stupid design decision that makes it so they almost never go back to red after you flip them green. (A page or so back someone said this was only in NY, but it's not.)

LMG in general are still really strong though. I was lucky to find a really good rolled carnage, which is a named NAGEV with perfect carnage on it (25% more dmg to bleed) I jsut dont have a way to applly bleed lol. But the thing still shreds, for my other one I have an MG5, which i both have supplemented with the gunner heavy pouch. My build is not even near close to being maxed but im doing 8-9 million sustained DPS. this is only with about 47% crit chance, and 77% crit dmg, and 150% head shot dmg. And I was easily soloing challenging CP3s last night (because matchmaking seems to be broke)

I have been camping for that bullet king as well but no dice yet. I think I ran that stupid wall street mission 20 times now since fri.

Also to add ive been running so many missions in a 4 man team lately that it was really eye opening on just how much they are juiced up inside missions because when I was soloing those CP3s last night the mobs had literally 1/4 the juice they have in the instances, lol.

Carnage is really good. I picked one up.

I did run into a named robot? Holy fuck did he have a ton of hit points. Of course he was accompanied by another robot and close to another group so they naturally joined in. I almost ran out of bullets. Which is lame.

Run the tomb in NY because it has 2 bosses that can drop bullet king. It also goes pretty fast and can find a group real easy since everyone wants bullet king

FYI If you're trying to do the new manhunt, don't change your global difficulty once you start completing the objectives or they will reset back to 0.

Yeah I've been running a carnage as a secondary on a crit build as well, and a classic m1a as the main gun, 58% crit, 99% crit dmg, 60% headshot, but with 4 piece negotiator which I honestly feel like just dropping it back down to 3 piece and go back to an extra 15% crit dmg, and no chest or backpiece to boost it cause I haven't done the raid so meh. I heard bullet king drops were bugged in the beginning and then when it started dropping from a patch fix on like friday the stats on them were low, and only the last two bosses drop it, so I didn't bother yet, would like to get it at some point. Also got lady death and acosta's go bag and both I feel pretty bleh about using.

Isn't Bullet King kind of meh due to having low base dmg to make up for not reloading? I mostly see people using it to blow up stupid shit like the hotel door and the gas tank on Roosevelt.

Acosta's Go Bag seems like the best new exotic in WoNY just because it's the only real way to make skill builds viable.
