The graphics look decent - Personally, I'm a big graphics snob. If a game doesn't have decent graphics (and animations), it is hard for me to play and enjoy the game.

This is sickening. Mostly because it solidifies just how bad some of these folks are deep in pockets. They just showed the same combat 5 days ago. Nothing had changed, and it was the same * Very * mixed reactions.
Honestly, if they were just upfront with their fanbase as to what this game really is, no matter how they try to save it with box sales saying it is a spiritual successor and sequel to Skyrim (Holy shit are the folks at Bethesda pissed about this - rightfully so.
Here is IGN's video preview of why it was time to get fired up for MMORPG's again with SWTOR. Sometimes I wonder if they just change the names.

Meanwhile, exploring has been already debunked. What they did was put together a few POI's and place the quest givers there and not lead the player there with a breadcrumb. Instead of clicking on an exclamation point, you click on a glowing red figure. They are actually marketing that. Exploration is also zone limited and takes away the freedom of previous elder scrolls games with a leveling system.
The amount they are trying to play the "Elder Scrollsy" card here is fucking insane. It's on an rails MMORPG with a GW2 combat system and a dynamic non persistent RvR instance with multiple dungeons and phases. That's it. What they should do is just cut the crap and start telling it like it is. That doesn't mean it can't be fun. I would bet more of the aggravation with the player base right now is just how full of shit these idiots are. It's insulting to think they believe some people will believe it.

Swtor still has janky combat at least as a Sith warrior. Smooth play makes a big fucking difference for melee and tank types.
I thought ign was always that way. I used to trust gamespot before Gerstgate. Now I do giant bomb now too but they just don't cover PC games and Gerstman has an abject hatred or maybe indifference to Mmos.
