One thing I've noticed this weekend is Treasure Chests do not seem to be a shared resource node any longer. I've had people come, loot a treasure chest right in front of me and it doesn't de-spawn.

Not sure if all resource-nodes are no longer shared and private or just the chests. But its a welcome change.

Even if it was an amazing MMO, you would still find something to nitpick on it like all the buildings look exactly the same....

Getting the fanboys riled up in zone chat is significantly more enjoyable than the game itself! You can use it as a fun pass time while you try to stomach the 1-10 game.

All I have to do is say "man this lag sucks" in cyro every so often and the usual train of responses come about "its a stress test", "it will all be fixed for live, dont worry" etc. It's quite hilarious.

Given that quote above, they will have one more weekend. I will see what its like then, but if this lag is still there in cyro on that weekend will probably not buy.

Also the leveling seems extremely slow in pvp. PVE it was about 1 a hour, but been 10 all day today and last night in cyro and only 3/4 of the way through 10(probably close to 10 hours of play).

Perhaps because they unintentionally broke magicka regen in 0.18. They also broke guild membership. If you are in a guild and log out to character select, all your guild memberships get temporarily broken. You have to completely quit the game and restart to be able to use guild chat. Lastly, since they sped up the leveling curve for 1-10 in 0.18 and allowed you to skip the starter area, I believe they wanted to get closed beta feedback before deploying 0.18 to the weekend beta server.

I can only assume who ever The Decider is thought those bugs were more frustrating than the bugs we've been running into since last year. I wouldn't know 'cause they won't let me experience them.

Have they given any indication they'd rethink how scaling works in Cyrodiil?

I would hope we would get to experience the latest build in the next beta weekend. Mana Regen might/probably is a bitch to deal with, but the other stuff wouldnt have bothered weekend testers in the slightest.

From what I understand - If you bought it directly from the ESO/zenimax website, you get everything that comes with it. If you buy the imperial edition from something like green man gaming, then you wont get everything till what I would assume, is early release-retail. I would have bought from GMG if I knew about the code earlier, but oh well.

Maybe thats the difference?

Reminds me of trying to pvp in Rift while on motel wireless. I had 60,000ms of lag, but was never straight up disconnected. I wish I could see what I looked like on the other guys screen. I didn't die though.

As for the 15s of lag, "its a stress test", "it will all be fixed for live, dont worry" etc.

From what I have seen it has potential to be fun. They have to get it smooth, and they have to keep it that way though. Slide show RvR is total ass.

Any chance they are talking on the beta boards to just let you pvp from the start? I'm going to assume this gets better after level 15ish. I just fucking get myself to level to that.
