You would think they would actually use the word "raid" in the description. Sounds like a gauntlet time trail with more people. I don't see anywhere in that description that describes your traditional raid or raid boss encounter. If there is that's good but you would think they would actually mention that.
If I had to guess, I would say because at this point nothing is developed with trials and it is all on paper. Sage is now selling his game on futures. Like Cisco does their hardware.

Cyrodil 3-way RvR is the bone that was tossed to the PVP community. The solo based quest design was the bone thrown to the TES RPG fans. If the 12 man trials are not traditional MMO raids, then that means no bones are being thrown to the PVE raiding community. IMO that would be a colossally stupid move on ZOS' part to not include traditional MMO raiding for end game PVE content.

I'm hoping it's just a PR fuck up and a bad write up. I can't see myself rushing through vendor trash more then a couple times just to improve my score. That shit is fine for smaller groups, not with 13 other people.

My definition of raid includes content done by two or more groups. UBRS is raid content. Karazhan is raid content. These 12man dungeons are raid content.

I get why people would want that number to be higher than 20, 30 or 50, but multigroup=raid to me.
I agree with this.

...and it certainly wouldn't be the first bone headed decision made by ZOS nor the last.

Narrow vision can often lead to complete lack of faith or trust from your customer base.

Despite your overly optimistic speculations or UT's wildly negative ones, the proof will ultimately reside in ZOS' hands moving forward. That translates to exactly zero faith from me which leaves them with a rather mountainous hill to climb to secure any purchase from me or others that feel the same. This is all from my own personal experience with them through beta and PTS.

I just don't understand why we constantly reward mediocrity in this space?

I think it was Menion that said it best, innovating for the sake of innovation is NOT innovation.

LOL there you go again.Since Grave brought AZ's up over a month ago, ESOhead.com has already datamined the AZ zone info, and AZ's are being pushed to PTS in a week or two, its fairly obvious your guess is wrong. Par for the course but still wrong.

definately in the running. a personal favorite of mine was the first darkfall launch where all the mobs in the game were invisible for the first day.

overall, id have to give it to anarchy online though. what a train wreck that was.

I am talking about the trials inside them, hooked on phonics. You know, the same topic you have been replying to for the last 2 hours? Trials? Here I'll bold it.

Unless you are saying Trials will be included in the AZ? Are you saying this?

I'm actually pretty satisfied that the Devs gave a middle finger to mods/add-on folks. Everybody is on the same footing.
Except that isn't true. You can't monitor your own buffs shorter than 30seconds, but you know what your add-on can still monitor? Your enemies' buffs longer than 30seconds. You can still sneak up on someone, spy that he's a Vampire via his buffs, switch in some fire damage ability(-ies) onto your hot bar and have a higher chance of adding to your body count. Or know not to approach someone when they're using Magelight.

I don't care about how others feel about the API changes they made, but defending those changes is some asinine shit. The changes they made, and the "reasoning" provided afterward, are nonsense.

I can support a game that doesnt cater to minmaxers. I have never been an add-on master nor cared. I am a casual, old gamer who plays games as the devs intended. When I dont like a game, I just stop playing and thats that.
If you have to keep quantifying your 'credentials' here every time you fucking post, you probably don't need to be posting here. Pretty sure most people here don't give a shit about that. MMORPG.com is a good place for that though.

Just got into this game and it is wildly addictive and fun! I am actually considering putting of ESO to play this. I have never played a card game in my life but, my goodness, this game is great.
Also, if you are considering not pre-ordering TESO because you can play Hearthstone, a F2P card game, I don't know what to say to that. I mean,Hearthstoneis okay and all but.. it's fucking free.

Unless you're planning on dropping $60 into that like some dumbass, what does one have to do with the other?

I wonder if someone in a locked down meeting by the name of Paul said the reason why there were so many quest bugs was because of API issues.
