Well the lemmings all jumped on WAR and all jumped on SWTOR, so their record of being right is about as bad as it can get.
It took beta for people to realize WAR had issues and most people didn't figure out SWTOR's problems untill after launch.

Yeah UT follows the herd... He spent months of not years being hated by majority here but he follows the herd. Whether u like or hate UT we can universally agree he does not "follow the herd".

98 percent of the internet (using UT's ass end number) thought SWTOR was going to be the next coming of god. Can't get much more herdlike than that. And in this instance UT is following the herd. He does have personal reasons of some sort also though.
Look, I don't know if TESO is going to be good or not, but no one else does either. Anyone who says they do is lying. They could be right, and most probably will be considering the past history of mmo launches. But there is nothing special in jumping on that bandwagon.

Ofcourse no one knows if it will be a hit. But we can assume certain things given the information that is evident.
Also there is nothing special about sitting on the fence. Especially in a place that promotes debate. To be honest I hope ES is awesome. I hope I have to come on here and say I was wrong to assume it would be shit.

I thought SWTOR was going to be fun, and it was. Still is, I am this very minute queued for Warzones on my Scoundrel healer.
I thought Warhammer was going to be fun and it was, until I hit endgame. It wasn't fun any more so I stopped playing, no problem!
In fact I've had a good amount of fun in almost every MMO I've played. The only ones where I didn't have fun were ones which I played for less than 1hr and realised they were terrible so I stopped playing, eg Neverwinter. The only MMO I can think of where I actually invested time into it and didn't enjoy myself much was GW2 where I kept playing purely because a couple of my friends wanted to, but man that was hard work.
I expect I'll get some fun out of TESO too, lets wait and see shall we?

Did you know the reason why I was banned was for calling out requiems shit publically for the first time? That was the permanent one. A year and a half before FoH shut down. The other temps, one was because Camerous had a hard on for cuppycake who is now fairly despised and I admittedly trolled the shit out of her, and another for calling specific developers to the carpet for bullshit. In the end, we saw the personal character of those admins. Didn't we?

Yeah and Curt was threatening to leave the forum and grassroots elsewhere, saying it would hurt their hits for advertisements.
But.... We all saw what happened with that one as well.
Some shady fuckers in these industry neck of the woods. We saw the downfall of McQuaid, Schilling, and three piece of shit Administrators. IGN folks calling out their own for paid previews to hype games, paid off reviews, the bullshit is everywhere.
Glad you run this site now. At least we won't have to worry about that shit any longer, at least here.

I finally knew Curt was full of shit when he continually threatened to leave over UT's antics as well as people using the word 'retarded' all the time (his son has Aspergers or something similar and he was very sensitive to that word), yet every time Curt would come back after about a week of inactivity and bump the 38 Studios thread with some irrelevant bullshit.
Sometimes I have to shake my head at UT's posts myself, but god damn if he doesn't play an important role around here.
