Looks okay I guess, seems to retread a lot of the ground already covered by the old films, which I both understand and lament since it's been quite a while but at the same time it's basically the same story we've seen several times.

One thing I don't understand though, is how this franchise is going to be relevant to the grand scheme of MCU things when this takes place in the 60's. Are we going to have a 120 year old Mr Fantastic in the next Avengers films that take place in 2035 (MCU is 5 years ahead of real time I believe since the snap)?

The retrofuture thing is cool and all, but I just don't see how this can be linked to the current ongoing MCU and going forward.

I thought that looked…well pretty good. The retro future look is interesting but makes me wonder where it fits in the MCU since we’ve never seen that before. So it might mean they are on a different earth/universe than the rest of the MCU.

Anyways, it actually looks interesting and it’s the first MCU movie in a while that I’m now actually looking forward to.

Something that comes to mind, they may be in a different universe where Galactus destroys earth and they mange to escape to the MCU with a message that Galactus is coming.

Seems pretty clear it'll be multiverse stuff. No other heroes were shown in the teaser. All the kids were dressed as the Thing, not one Iron Man.

They'll be in a different universe and in the third act or after credits it'll have them find the MCU.

The answer is time travel or multiverse. Or both. Same shit they've been doing for a while.

That…doesn’t look bad. Sucks they had to gender swap Silver Surfer. He was one of my favorite cosmic characters in Marvel.

Is this on some alternate earth? Or are we doing some retcons where there’s always been super heroes? They glossed over Iron Man being “first” and escalating when they introduced Ant Man and to some extent Cap. Those made sense. Three letter boys kept them out of the headlines, etc.

Yeah. That kinda seals it. This might get me to show up to a damn marvel movie since No Way Home and Deadpool and Wolverine.

Yea sign me up, looks awesome. A bold choice to cast a 50 year old mexican as the origin story for a white guy. Cautiously optimistic for this super hero disney movie right guys!

They are going to run that horse til he dies. White enough to not immediately turn off middle America, but still somehow checks the Hollywood DEI box. The perfect token "minority". He's white but dumb people will consider him a minority because his white parents emigrated to South America.

Yeah. They're coming from another universe along with Doom.

Multiverse for sure. I'm assuming RDJ cameo in the post-credits stinger. I hate the cast and have no interest in this, but that's likely how it'll tie into the other films.

that would really suck if they do that.

the FF being a family, and protecting their world, and being "normal" is a big part of their story. the FF being "last sons of a doomed planet" is not their story. it completely changes the dynamic if they are NOT from the current world, and all their friends and family are dead.

Looks great. And yeah, pretty sure it's not our timeline, and we'll get both the FF and RDJ's Doom out of this universe and into the MCU at the movie's conclusion.

yeah the next two big 2026/27 movies are consolidating all the Marvel heroes back into a single universe. Avengers Doomsday will involve the origins of Dr. Doom, probably in his own universe, probably trying to figure out a way to cross over into another universe for one reason or another (find a dead love, power, Latvia, etc) and Avengers from multiple universes assembling to stop him. Originally it was gonna be Kang doing this. You can see an Infinity War type ending where Doom wins and Avengers lose with universes dying.

Avengers Secret Wars is probably multiple universes collapsing into a single universe, maybe the Beyonder is involved, definitely Dr. Doom is involved. We'll likely see a single universe with a new set of core heroes at the end - Miles Morales replacing spiderman, X-Men coming in before their movies start, Fantastic Four in the MCU, and any variants replacing "main" heroes like a new actor for Black Panther, probably a new Iron Man (woman), a new Thor, a new Hulk, on and on.

the only real question is what of the 2025 movies will actually really tease this, and will it be real or bullshit like the stingers for the last few shitty movies where people just cross universes without making much sense. Thunderbolts is 100% going to tie into Doom. Fantastic Four will probably just stinger the F4 being deposited into a new universe. Who the fuck knows with Captain Wakanda.

How is he a mini Galactus? This was said in a few videos i watched but i remember him being sky scraper sized in the comics. He looks like the size of skyscrapers in the Trailer.
What am i missing, are people just nit-picky trolls? Movie looks good.

TL;DR: Disney sucks, not watching their shit anymore.

At this point I'm just done with super hero movies. It's not super hero fatigue, I still want AMAZING super movies, it's Disney fatigue. They can't put out anything good anymore. They're insufferable, incompetent, they can only push agendas now. There's no more creativity in Disney. Sure, they get lucky when a movie that was largely not touched by Disney, i.e. Deadpool and Wolverine, No Way Home. Disney is not only morally bankrupt but creatively and intellectually as well. Past decade has been nothing but Acquire, Acquire, Acquire and the only thing they have to show for it is Multiverse bullshit they confused themselves with and ruining everything they touch.

I'm almost positive this era of film (as a whole) will go down in history as THE worst era of film in filming history.

All that said... I'm done with Disney completely. I won't be seeing a single film from them unless it's another Deadpool movie, then I might consider it. Until then...see ya, Disney. Fuck you very much.
